Some more gold from Bomberblitz:

"I'd call it the worst loss of the modern era. Even worse than all the other Melbourne losses."

"We should never lose another ******* game to that bottom feeding club. Absolutely sick of this rabble every time we play them."

"Pathetic, and to cap it off I have a broken remote and two fist holes in the wall.

Faark I hate losing to sides we prop up, to think we are footing the bill for the cocksucker Roos infuriates me even more."

"lucky we don't have any draft picks then, I guess."

"What is it now 4 losses in the last 5 games against this pathetic club? We are their *****."

"Wont Melbourne hurry up and fold, sick of those broke pricks embarassing us."

OH, HOW SWEET IT IS!!!

ONE point LOSERS.

SUCK IT UP.

You shouldn't need Viagra after that win.

Bloody hell mate. I'm struggling to get to the medicine cabinet!

What a win! Topped off my weekend perfectly! Finished my degree yesterday and had a massive night out in the town last night! I'm now in a taxi heading out to celebrate the win tonight! Woo! Go Dee's!

in all seriousness, we could easily be 8-4 instead of 4-8 at the moment, which would have us equal 5th on the ladder on wins. Paul Roos is not God. He is whatever created God.

as mentioned earlier, keep an eye out for Scarlett Johansen

After the Richmond win I enjoyed a classy bottle of red. Tonight I'm reaching for the viagra!

After that performance this avo Deeoldfart u shouldn't need Viagra!!

The Dees are the Viagra!

That's about the size of it, ladies.

Our poise under extreme pressure was really something (especially in the last 15 minutes or so) It's like we grew an extra leg and our finishing skills were excellent. The play that finished with the Salem goal was tremendous - especially at that time of the game. Heady stuff from Dawes not to call for the ball from Salem as well. McKenzie's coolness in that play was brilliant.

We keep coming out after half time with renewed vigour and we continue to finish games off well - that's a sign of a side on the up. The self belief is growing and we're only going to get better.

Apart from being an excellent tactician, Roos is the supreme motivator.

A fantastic effort today.

ps ... Pies, Blues, Dons and Tigers all lose on the one weekend and we win ... Bliss!

Even Demonlanders' old favourite, Dwayne Russell, spoke of Melbourne's "resurrection" during his commentating at the end of the game and asked "how do we sign up?"

You are enjoying tonight DO aren't you?

Ha fricken ha..........suck s/@t you cheats

Omg we just doubled our win total from last yr!!!!!

You are enjoying tonight DO aren't you?

arent we all ???

arent we all ???

Yes but some are way more animated than others bb.

I am worried DO is going to burst!

We have been desperate for players who can break the lines and kick goals, and Kent was just what the doctor ordered.

Anyone else noticed Dunn always comes out late after half time.

Maybe getting a jab but doubt it? Extra physio? Extra warm up or just CBF'ed with the run around the circle and picking up ground balls and will work the rest out later?

Up there with the Cam Bruce/Christian Salem track pants as my favourite novelty thing in Melbourne games.

Tommy Mac gave Dudiher a bath today, look forward to him doing it many more times in the future.

We looked good today and just need a bit more oomph in the midfield.

Tomorrow's headline

Bomber's Bombers Bomb

No bb it will be:

Dees win, Bombers in crisis!

Cause every team that loses to us are in [censored] crisis.

Just watched Mark Thompsons press conference.

He is [censored]!

I do love reading their sad comments and i did that after the Carlton win.

But pathetic attitude of bombers supporters, to be speaking about Melbourne that way.

It was a one point loss in which we outran them in the second half. We were far better than them from the 8 minute mark of the 3rd quarter onwards!

Something I Hird. "Melbourne wins by a Little margin"

Blown away by the comeback today..even though at times both teams did not kick straight well at all....

But in the end MELBOURNE Was true to the task!

We knocked off the cheats!

We backed ourselves & willed ourselves over the line!!!

THATS THE MELBOURNE I WANT TO SEE FOREVER & A DAY!

So if its Demons you want you better F^%$#& believe it...... its Demons under Roosy your gunna get! Coz by gee by jingo by Crikey.... we've got wins coming out our "Bleeps" (Thanks Billy Birmingham)

Incredible win with a beautiful piece of play in the final moment....absolute perfection by the guys from the backline right through to the guts to Crossy's delivery to Chris Salem.

PUMPED! THANKS DEMONS! ENDED THE WEEKEND ON A HIGH!

Bloody hell mate. I'm struggling to get to the medicine cabinet!

Get help from the mrs!!

Look forward for Tommy Mac to take the confidence from a lot of great spoils and fix the rest of his game. So many great plays under pressure by Tommy Mac including his role in the final goal. Some bad ones as well. Wish he was a bit faster at times today and take the ball over the line don't give away dumb deliberates!!!!

Please can we win a game by 10 goals and control it in the midfield so guys like Tommy Mac, Dunn, Jetta etc can have a rest!

Wonder if that will be the case when we win the flag.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
