Theres no current cobfidence to go fwd as a team not enough targets..not enough playing hard enoufh to make the options. Result players back off. That to me is a losers attitude and needs fixing..fast

I find it baffling that we have endured the last few years that we have, and yet supporters are scared off by us being down by 21 points at half time,

we aren't beaten, our best is good enough, i just hope to god the attitude of the players is more positive than some on here.

Skills have been average and we seem to stop and think before moving the ball on... Pretty easy to defend that.

Jack Grimes pushed fair in the back by Daniher.

Derwayne: "OH THAT'S HARSH"

Bruce McAvaney would of said "OhHH! That was a bit harsh, WASN'T IT??

We need better work from clearances. If Jones gets it, it goes no where. If he doesn't get it Essendon clear.

Couldn't be summarised any better.

I'M not giving up

Good God. Giving up before half time.
It's only 3 goals.
Roosy will speak very soon.

I'm not giving up

Bring on Salem

Where the hell has Dawes been?

Its only been down his end 10 times, and he was against at least 2 or 3 each time.

Frawley etc. need to get more dangerous.

He's an exception to the rules, no doubt about that.

It's not the fact we are losing, it is how poorly we are playing.

Does not event look like we are trying to win, just minimise damage.

At least he takes the game on, that is exactly what we need atm.

that is true. certainly not our worst

If the boys don't get it together I feel the floodgates could open in 2nd half and could blow out to 75 points.

Dawes, Vince, M Jones, Bail, Garland, Howe, Jamar, Pederson all need to lift.

Playing well are Dunn, Grimes, Watts & Jetta.

I reckon get Dawes closer to goal and let Chip and Watts lead up the ground

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
