Melbourne traffic! Bolte bride is it closed for repairs? Accidents, a protest march, WWF wrestling at Rod Laver? International Frisbee championships at AAMI? World congress of rotary and apex clubs at Margaret Court arena? Scouts Jamboree at Collingwoods Holden Centre? Snail rodeo at Goschs paddock? It is a minefield, anything is possible, good luck.

Would it make sense to throw in a train line from Tullamarine to the CDB?

We could bulldoze the Wilson car parking Monopoly in the process and put the station there.

Why are we spending money on roads for all the plebs that choose to live 100 plus KMS out of town?

They can walk for all I care.

Biff that is so all the poor city people can escape the rat race at the weekend and come and annoy us plebs living the dream in the bush.

I have heard the city of Melbourne called many things, but even I think that is harsh.

We country folk put up with many things, city folk use our water, eat our food and then have the temerity to blame us for putting in infrastructure so they can move around their dump. Wastelands may be an appropriate location for urban sprawl.

I do thank you for only having three sets of traffic lights in the 188km drive from my front door to parking near the members at the G.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

    Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.
