I'm surprises that nobody has addressed the big question of the draft!

Will the Demonland server stand up on the big stage? When the pressure is on to preform, when the heat is on, when it faces its biggest test of the year?

Imagine the distress and pain a simple driver error could cause. A simple database error and the health of so may Demon faithful would be effected.

Let's hope Demonland have a backup plan, a plan B, let's hope they have thought outside the square and are overseen by good governance with good systems.

Let's hope they understand that the happiness of literally 1000's of people rest in their hands.

Good luck Demonland and thanks for your efforts in providing a great draft and trade period so far.

And let's hope we do find a friend for Jesse.

it had a hissy fit last night....maybe just ironing out some bugs in the leadup !! :o

I really think with Roos on board Demonland is in for a breakout year.... It's exactly the type of internet forum that will thrive under him...

Mixing this thread with the clichés thread.... who said blokes can't multi task?

Is anyone else having trouble with responding to posters? If I try to quote another poster it doesn't bring up details of the post I'm responding too.

Maybe I've been banned and just haven't been told?

Yes, I'm having trouble too.

Thank God, I thought it was just me.

Not that I want you to have trouble Bob I just don't like being alone.

Yes, I'm having trouble too.

That's been going on you a long time now... best policy is to apply the old adage, if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again. Still, it's better than the opposite problem where some posters manage to get twice the quoter quota of quotes per response.

I'm not having any issues.

What are you doing to try to reply to people? What browser are you using? Is it up to date?

It appears to be an intermittent problem... I have found that sometimes when you click on the Quote button nothing will appear quoted, but when you go back and click again, the quote appears; probably 8 or 9 times out of 10 it works just fine. Doesn't appear to be browser related as I have had it happen in both Safari and Firefox (never use IE) and both of those are always kept up to date.

When I click on quote to respond to a poster it comes up with the reply box but not the quote I'm responding to; like this one I wanted to respond to your post and this is what I got.

Also if I try to cut and paste nothing at all comes up.

This is my work computer and we are on Internet Explorer 10; it's the first time it has happened.

I did have a funny "log on" this morning and I might reboot and see what happens.

Re booted but still the problem remains.

Is Demonland clever enough that we could actually select posters we want to have this problem? I can think of a few...

Yes, this is definitely the biggest issue of the draft but we have full faith and confidence here at Demonland in Nasher's ability to ensure that the site stands up on draft night at least better than the top order of the Aussie batting.

Of course, if the recruiters use pick 9 to select a dud, a spud, a crock or a convicted criminal, we might be stretched to the limit ...

If only we get a good pre-season...

I think they may be that clever, they have singled me out by the look of it; well done 'Land.

What post are you referring to Robbie?

La Dee-vina Comedia Post #20.

Sorry that was in response to #24 Baghdad Bob

I've had enough, I'm going home to see if my Mac works.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
