Schwab's parting message to Saty before he resigned. "Gehe nach norden nach Riga. Die armee von ratten und pest werden folgen"

In which case, the membership on here would be decimated.

In my case it's because I find it alarming that he is passing on opinions to players expressed online when players are told explicitly to avoid these places. Also, I find his attitude of "I talk the players and you don't, therefore you don't know anything" is irritating and deserves to be called upon.

I always imagine if the players are put off by the info passed on by saty.they would tell him not to do this

I have read and appreciated some of the info saty has left on this board,if irritated ,don't read

what's personal?

The guy is like Chemical Allie. Last year when we all knew the club was imploding it was Satyr who was taking pot shots on here, telling all that "everything was fine"

It wasn't.

I was against many things the club did

but I did find saty showed his true colours by sticking with the management line and personally I find that endearing

he did comment many times"i just spoke to so and so in the office and they said that rumour is untrue"

for this ,I took as another way of looking at different theories as to what was happening

whilst not agreeing with all his writing ,I certainly made sure I read most of his posts

Gee I don't know... possibly remarks like "old blokes hanging around changing rooms..."? Criticism is one thing, but attempting to be hurtful is a completely different matter.

I only say it because he has told it already....All of what i know about Satyr are from reading his posts.

His Blind Faith during 2012-13 was very concerning to me.

Sticking with management when the ship is going down can be very dangerous.

That is what caused the GFC in 2008....Those Banks kept trading till the last moment, taking in as much investor money as they could.

"Everything is fine"....

No more concerning than your often over the top condemnations that also drew strong rebukes from many. I really don't mind people offering reasonable criticism, but I am not particularly comfortable with people starting to make it too personal... and in some cases, it seems that whenever Satyriconhome now says anything, there are some who are just waiting to jump on him regardless.

Only because of his past record....He would still be supporting the past regime if they had dug in.

Blind Faith is dangerous.

He is one supporter... we are all grown up enough to make up our own minds whether we support the old regime or not... and I think you will find that he will give just as fervent support to the new regime. And I think that to compare his support to the banks during the financial crisis is extremely fanciful at best ^_^

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
