Mate just called me to say Hogan injured and in the rooms any reports?

I can't see Jesse Hogan out there and Casey only has 4 on the bench so he must have gone into the rooms getting treatment on his knee.

Don't want to raise panic, Hogan is off with a knee injury. Went straight off at the 10min mark. Think it may be just jarred knee hopefully, being assesed by the doctor now.

How's Taggert moving KC. I really would love to see him have a crack in the ones before season's out. And if Hogan has really hurt himself shoot me now

If he has done a minor knee injury, i'm not bothered. Send him back to Perth, rest up, come back and smash a pre-season, ready to hit round 1.

Please don't freak out yet people.

Bendigo playing everyone behind the ball and its a real scramble. Plenty of tight spots and Casey have scored only one point with the wind as all players are playing in Casey's forward half. James Magner is having a day out getting lots of the footy as are Jimmy Toumpas and David Rodan.

Shouldn't be playing anyway, we should've shut him down weeks ago.

Hopefully it's just minor and our football department learn from this.

Why not?

He won't develop sitting on the boundary!

We need to get games into our younger guys and Casey has been perfect for him.

I watched hogan go down in front of me. There was a horrible crack, sort of like breaking a branch over you knee. He did get up and hobbile off but. I eve dropped on the DR on the phone and heard he was off for scans at 3:15 and heard him mention checking the PCL. I then asked when he was off the phone and he was adamant he thought it was not serious

I am still expecting him to kick 10 in the last quarter!

Half time in the worst game in history and Casey leads 8.3.51 to Bendigo 2.4.16.

Its sounding pretty good from where I am sitting KC.

I will accept a win any day.

On the up side, PCL means out for the season but probably back, 100% for week one of preseason. Even a torn meniscus would be similar. 8 weeks and back on deck.

ACL is a bit more serious, because PCL can heal on its own.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
