Has anyone been down to training lately and seen Clark? Is he running yet? Is he doing anything?

Posted

last i heard he was doing off leg training full time and going to start weight bearing and running in the next few weeks

I just hope we have more sense than to rush him back. No point in bringing him back this season (possibly prematurely), keep him on ice for next season when he will be back to full strength and dominant as ever, as long as there are no permanent lasting effects from th injuries.

Just seems conflicting information leaking out here and there, with little that's concrete. Not sure why Misson made no mention of him (at all) in this week's injury report. Somewhat worrying that that's the case.

Definitely a bit worrying, you'd think if there was positive news there'd be no reason to hold it back but all reason to keep negative stuff quiet.

Wasn't it mentioned as an aside in one of the game day or post game day or Casey threads, that he was possibly going to be playing at Casey soon? Might be wrong, but I'm sure I saw something.

Clark and Hogan together at Casey, salivating prospect.

Nice to see that senile dementia hasn't taken over completely... here it is courtesy of The Yarra.

I also thought it was odd that the was no update in last week's report. Why wouldn't we want to be informative as we could be about the state of play in relation to Mitch's foot? Who would we be trying to keep the news from? It's not as if we'd be wanting to play our cards close to our chest for the Finals and it's certainly not going to cause the supporters more stress than they're used to! Maybe we're after Buddy as a replacement for a soon-to-be retired Mitch and we don't want to signal our interest.......then again, it's probably just a mistake.

I can't help but think the news on Clark isn't good. He doesn't even get a mention in the weekly injury update.

Surely if he was progressing well they would be keen to discuss this in their weekly recording.

A number of posts on this thread have been deleted for breaches of Internet etiquette. Speculation is fine but unfounded claims and offensive remarks to other posters aren't welcome here.

Discussion on Mitch Clark's injury can continue when the club issues its next injury list.

Needless to say, this thread is closed.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
