Demonland is proud to announce the signing of a future star of the MFC - Jasmine Garner!

The 18 year old, who plays for the St Kilda Sharks, will make history as she dons the famous Red and Blue on the 29th of June to do battle in the inaugural Dees women's team.

A profile of Garner can be read here and a summary of the donations page - including the official information of Demonland's involvement - here.

We wish Jasmine all the best in the lead up to the game, a wonderful game on the day and a bright and prosperous career.

Go Garner, Go Dees!

Well as bright and prosperous as a career can be in a one off game for the MFC..... Although if you mean for her local and state footy then sure good luck to her.

It didn't take long, did it?

What? I'm saying good luck to her. I just don't imagine her career at the MFC will be a long one.

If then win on the 29th does that make us Premiers or Minor Premiers?

You all missed the real question!

Can she play in the Mid Field?

Good work on the organising 45.

And good luck Jasmine!

Great work 45, I'm all for putting her on the D-land banner on their match day.

Hi all,

I've PM'd all the relevant people (I believe) about contact from the club. Please let me know if you didn't get a PM but should've.

At the risk of revealing myself to be an idiot - I can't figure how (or if) you send multiple PMs to people in the one go.

Sorry to bump (this'll be the last one!) - I've received another email from the club about sending a loyalty certificate and team photo.

I've PM'd you with details and what you need to do.

Best on ground in an AFLW grand final.

To go with 6 All-Australians, 2 League MVPs as voted by her peers, 3 as voted by her coaches. Two time team leading goal kickers and 4 best and fairests (to date).

Good luck to her, indeed.

11 year bump!

Closest thing to time travel we will ever see.

Dearest 2013 rpfc, it got better then weirdly very bad while we were very good. We won but my past self (you’re future self) couldn’t go. It was in Perth.
And then we won again, but they played that at a training ground outside Brisbane. I couldn’t get to that either.

You know what, never mind.

I see some things haven’t changed in the future.

Good call in fairness.

If someone said to you after round 11 2013:

*after another Queens Birthday flogging,
*we’re 1-10 with a percentage of about 25
*Mark Neeld just sacked

That we’d win a flag in 8 years, but in Perth where the majority of Melbourne people aren’t allowed to attend the game, then you’d have that person immediately institutionalised.

It would’ve also felt like, inevitably, it was the only way we were ever going to get one.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
