WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - PAUL ROOS

Lets get this party started

Yeah the 2 years with a possible 3rd spun me out too. That's Paul Roos not us.

Coming from a guy that said he would never be the head coach again.. I think we can be grateful he's gone that far..

2 years with an option of a third. Not sure if that's good or bad. Up to the club and Roos to get things moving quickly I like it!

someone tell me the two years bit shouldn't dampen my excitement

3 years was a year and 1/2 too long for the previous coach

GET IN!!!!

Cant wait for Paul to stand on the Grand Final dais and say

"For all you Demon supporters that have waited so long.......HERE IT IS!"

Im so excited im running around the backyard in circles with just my undies on and hands in the air.

Sure the website hasn't been hacked! The saviour has cometh!!!

If he is going as well as we all hope/think he will do then he will stay beyond the two/three years.

Your club managed to get the best coach available and write in protection if it goes all Blighty.

How'd I do?

I am very happy Roos will be our coach... but I would have locked him away for 4 years!

meaning what? it's financial protection for us in case he's gotten nowhere in 2 years?

LOL

Has to be a succession plan in the midst...

Hey, I was the first to post proof of signing!

What prize do I win, Nasher?

Go Roos.. i mean GO Dees...

Okay 45 minutes left to actually achieve some work for the morning..

Thank heaven from a personal safety view.

I can now drive down the Hume Highway this afternoon without needing to check my phone every 10 or so kilometers

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
