WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - PAUL ROOS

Featured Replies

This is just the sort of thing that could happen to us at the 11th hour, the Eagles swoop and we're in the crapper again.

When did we get out of the crapper?

Pre sure it's a done deal guys or he wouldn't have said a word

The Eagles are shot aern't they.

Very interesting to see what happens over in the wild west.

0% chance his family would want to move to Perth if they dont even wanna go to Brizzy

Melbourne it is

I like any poster who has an attractive female as an avatar - although they used to be more revealing than they are now.

Hi what do you think about me?

If the family says no to Brisbane, I can't imagine Perth being a yes..................WA is a different country in comparison!

So, are you settling the kiddies down or having sex?

Isn't the word doing the rounds, that Roos' appointment will be announced at Thursday's Blueys?

Both of those but that has nothing to do with the imminent appointment! Presser 10am Monday!

Based on what knowledge (or jut a guess?)?

It's like getting blood from a stone!

Hi what do you think about me?

I've always had a special place in my heart for Lady Penelope.

the announcement of his appointment would make an interesting entre to the B and F this week

imagine the write ups in the papers, front page news for the right reasons

Warney would be keen

Hmmm I'm too classy for Warney. My man Parker drives me around in a roller you know. I'm a cut above Liz Hurley I think.

An announcement at the B and F would steal the thunder from whoever wins the Bluey. Not cool.

My uncles sisters mother is married to the son of a cousins best friend of paul Roos nephews auntys daughter! 10am Monday

Fair enough... it's a guess

I'm just pleased I got on Roos @ $2.25 a couple of months back ;)

When the rumours started why didn't you get on him at $7 like I said.

Fair enough... it's a guess

Roos was at the G tonight meeting with the directors - no guess!

Hi what do you think about me?

I preferred the puppets in Team America myself...

I saw Paul Roos on a plane to Casey this morning at 5am...

Just said on 7 that there are reports PJ and Roos met with the directors at the MCG tonight. Bit strange to me why would they meet at the G for everyone to c?

The plot thickens.

Perth - world's most isolated city - with the exception of Fremantle pretty much an ordinary city. If Brisbane is off the cards for the family I would be greatly surprised if Perth would be on the radar.

PJ showing him around his new home?

Would Roos have been at the MCG for Foxtel commitments anyway?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
