Crows might top our 148 point loss here, looking pretty bad for the Giants, in the 4th quarter and the scumdog millionaire has 8 touches.

I cannot get my head around the fact we were 3 goals down to them at three quarter time. On our home ground. That is absolutely shameful.

Definately a good day to see our young fellas up against theirs....should be a good match

They played better that day - that's what happens with young teams.

Next week, they might get to within 5 - 7 goals of the Hawks. Remember, they were leading the Bombers by a long way.

It happens.

It's crazy isn't it, I mean the crows aren't even that good, can't see them making the 8 this year without Tex

Davey late in for Tommy Mac. Davey sub

Good.

We needed a runner and needed to drop a tall and unlike most others on the team Davey can use the footy.

If they get within 5 goals of the Hawks, I will eat my hat. My nicest hat.

I can see Geelong beating them by 200 points at Skilled.

Melbourne in from 2.15 to 2.05 on TAB sportsbet in the last hour. Flood of money

I hope you don't have to chow down on your hat.

Won't be 200....Cats will stay in first gear all day.

60 - 80 points.

the wet will suit our game style, gold coast have good skills and stuff but we play scrappy contested football, so the conditions and ground are in our favour

Have just driven down from the bush for my first game this year and signed up to be a member for the first time ever. Its worth signing up just to have a chat to the very lovely young girls selling the memberships:)

Might have to sign up twice.

Go dees

I put a hundred on the Dees earlier today. Full time /half time double @ $2.75

Smart bet, we have jumped them every time we have played them.

Did gerard Healy just call gold coast the gold c*nts and call our coach Craig neeld? Wow...

Tommy mac is out due to shoulder - davey in...

Interesting no Davis for Tom. Would have thought its his perfect chance

Another massive Neeld error. For several days the weather forecast has been for late rain. As I look at the radar it would seem that we are in for a very wet game. Simply we are way to tall for wet conditions. There is no excuse for this. It is an incredibly unprofessional error. My opinion of Neeld has again dropped. He is a disaster

We will get smashed due to the midfield dominance of GC and lack of beneath the knees agility due to playing too tall for the conditions.

Maybe this will be Neelds last.

Shut-up FFS!!!!! Boooooooooorrrrrrring!!!!

I'm not that greedy, 187 will do

I am turning off the commentary on Fox Footy - the negativity astounds me.

Was that Max Gawn with NO BEARD in the rooms?

No love from any of the commentators today, but that's okay; they're all hacks anyway.

PS Max Gawn's had a shave, so I think we're officially fuzz-free across the board. The closest thing to a beard on any of our players is Jeremy Howe's customary 5 o'clock shadow.

Two things. Dermott B picking the Suns by 65+ is just a joke. Carlton only got it done by 40.

Sellar will play a good game if he's positioned down back.

Yeah, it's almost like a televisual version of Demonland ;-)

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
