how can we be the hardest team to play against when we dont man up, we dont chase, we handball to stationary players and we constantly kick and handball to the other team!

What do they do at training? Can't kick, can't mark, can't run or hand ball. No footy brain. There is no forward structure or passion. Please give them some spine.

McKenzie looks back inside (boundary) when the obvious handball was back to Jones......common play by MFC players. Happened last week as well. Don't handball to a player running forward, we might actually create some run and carry! Neeld training special????

OK. Let's look at the reality.

Some on this board will go on about Carlton having more of the ball. A lot of that possession has been cheap. There has been a lot of backwards kicks which I think is a good sign of our front on pressure.
Carlton were always going to win this game and comfortably. What needs to be bought out of this is that the boys need to understand that this is the pressure you apply each week. What the coaching team needs to bring out of it is that we need to work on our skills ASAP. There were opportunities there today that could have kept us in the game but poor finishing killed us.

how on earth did that Maggot get a gig... what a bozo

Second issue: run and spread. The boys seem to ball watch too much. No instinctive play is evident any in any of our games.

Why do we have to see Megan Whoever every time some idiot from Carlton touch the ball?

Because we all want to picture her naked, it's better than watching Hampson try play football.

MFC must get Lingy in to coach the mid field.....or failing that...Simon Black

I'm sure Neeld will hang his hat on that too.

Will milk it for all it's worth. Other three quarters awful again, and not sure how many of our goals came from a free kick or a mistake from the opposition, but it's a few.

Found him!

Hampson does something good: pan to Megan.

She's not even that great. Yeah, I went there.

What is it with all those Carlton googy eggs cheering Hampson when he gets the ball?

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
