tonight became funny after a while.

I have given up for the year, i will go to the footy because i want to get my fathers moneys worth for my redlegs membership.

The axe will be swung, players will go, supporters will leave.

Who cares

It feels like the Club died tonight. We are the lowest we have ever been.

Doesn't it make Daniher look like a Super Coach.

It's interesting to think but that is the last time the I can remember the players actually responding to a coach at the Dees.

Try since the last flag, thats how long I have been putting in.Now is when the club needs staunch supporters.I hate nights like tonight and last week and believe me I have seen many. But abandoning the club when it needs you most just undermines everything Jimmy tried to achieve.

We are not "abandoning the club", we are expressing what we feel.

We are the people who buy memberships, go to games, attend club functions, and type on computers into depressing internet forums in a state of rage, etc...

We are the staunch supporters.

We crave success. We crave effort. We crave unity. We crave footy excellence.

I'm actually in a good mood, dont even know why..

that is the feeling that comes when a person disassociates from the quest & the pain...

.... & its likely that that is how the players are feeling after the last few years... a feeling of letting go, following the sense of hopelessness & a not knowing where the club is heading. and with no control over it.

this is what the players of the late 70's & after were going thru, & what Barassi had to eradicate.

Northey inherited an 85% healthy club...

-------------------------------------

Neeldy is doing the hard work & is suffering from players with chronic a lack of belief within themselves... it is time to have Barass back helping Neeld out with guidance...

Neeld has the balls to do what most don't & won't.... he needs support to complete this very tough job.

Daniher didn't do the hard stuff & just got the best from a rotten culture, but he wouldn't fix it....

# the club has been a shemozzle for way too long, since largely the 60's & this culture shift has to be seen through thoroughly.

I'm not in a bad mood either. Winning $200 on the game helped, but what's to cry about anymore?

Couldnt agree more, but the players need to look in the mirror and have a look at some of the supporters..

I was almost happy when Jack Watts got subbed off, to see the end of this kid..

He's got a rotten attitude

How much have you had to drink? or is it the drugs talking? or probably the amount of blood rushing from your veins

THIS IS NO COMEDY!

The club is like a fizzy drink that has been shaken for the last 5 years and has now been opened - we are flat! and nobody wants to drink/watch us anymore

"I am done" and "handed back memberships"and such tokens sure scream abandonment to me.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
