McLardy, Schwab and Co must go

The brass have shown they are bereft of said spirit, so will have to be removed by those who aren't.

Charges of 'feeding irrational paranoia' and stoking 'alarmism' are judgment calls, which you entitled to.

I disagree.

We've been through one of these dances before, you and I.

You are equating HWFUA to my view that we should wait for more than one rounds evidence before we push for a board challenge, the firing of the CEO, and the removal of the coach and your view that we should do all those three things now?

Don't waste my time with that.

My issue is not who you wish to remove but when, if we dish up a few more months of this then I doubt anyone at the club would be safe.

And my point to show your 'faux alarmism' is that you are hitting a raw nerve you know you are hitting. You are getting wyl riled up with this stuff and he is taking a couple with him over the cliff (note: that is a proverbial cliff...).

If you think, as I do, that this club will endure, don't put forward that we are headed for the same fate as Fitzroy.

It is disengenous and, despite the scoffing from the Demonland bleachers that this we recieve, it is beneath you.

It's the 102L - 32W that's hitting the raw nerve, Rpfc. People are upset and rightly so.

And give other people credit for forming their own views.

Some of the views wyl comes up with can only be credited to him. You are fueling this pipe-nightmare that we will soon not exist.

That is a sh!t record you keep bringing up. It's not that much different to Fitzroy's. But that is where the similarities end. I happen to have a few family friends who knew the state of their finances in the last few years. They were not doing well at all while paying approx 70% of the cap at the time. There are reasons other than W/L record as to why Fitzroy went the way of the Dodo (what, to Queensland?).

The record under this Board and Schwab isn't pretty (to say the least: 24W and 65L), and after the offseason relaignment that promised more than Sunday we have good reason to ask for new people IF what happened Sunday is to repeat itself often this year.

Happy for the criticism but when it is pushing reason, I will push back.

5 or 6 people on this Board are upset including you, the rest of us are looking fwd to tomorrow night, think you are a fan of The Manchurian Candidate...keep saying the same thing loudly over and over and over again, in the hope you can beat everybody into submission, this is me forming my own view, do I get credit Rangey, go on I dare you

An opinion is a lie is it? Think you have trouble with basic vocab. Strange for a pseudo-intellectual art-film watching lightweight. Then again ...

Say no more. I'll be directing the mods to address your baseless personal attacks. Disgraceful.

Jens Lehmann got the boot for good. You're next.

I can just imagine the board meetings....

Prez: "So, Range Rover, what do you think is our biggest challenge?"

RR: "102L - 32W"

Prez: "Ok, so what do you think we should do?"

RR: "102L - 32W"

Prez: "Riiiight, got that already, how can we improve?"

RR: "102L - 32W"

Prez: "Yes, you said that already, what productive suggestions do you have?"

RR: "102L - 32W"

Prez: "Geeeez... I need a break, let's get lunch, Rangey what do you want to order?"

RR: "102L - 32W.... No lettuce."

That's weak RR. Someone has a go at you the SAME WAY you do at EVERYONE and you go crying to the mods... Very weak, even for you.

An opinion might not be a lie, but it's certainly not a fact.

I have been attending AGMs since 1988. For mine this Board is the most talented board we have had over that duration. Now you may say that is saying both a little and alot. If they were to be kicked out then I would fear for the future of the MFC. Look at the resume of our Directors and offer me some alternatives of similar business standing.

Keep up the good work RR, you and WYL and others are doing a terrific job going toe to toe with these posters that appear to be here only to deflect, disturb and discredit anybody willing to ask questions of this admin.

I've got no problem with anyone forming an opposing opinion Stu. You annoy the hell out of me but you have a right to your opinion.

But I draw the line at a punk like Satyricon saying that I am spreading lies. It's not on.

Jens Lehmann went on the same track. Now he's permanently banned. Suggest you and anyone else who wants to go down that track take note.

Exactly mate. Their game is to deflect from the issue and attack me in the hope of getting the thread shut down. Just like they did with the Schwab thread.

They won't succeed.

Listen RR, as much as we disagree, we both quite often have a very attacking style of posting here. With that territory comes some heat back the other way, granted there's a line, but you shouldn't go running to the mods as often as you seem to be doing in the last week or so, it's gutless.

I cop my fair wack here, plenty from you, I fire back usually but I accept it as part of the passion that is Demonland.

Fire back with some proof, smartass cracks, polls, whatever you like, but don't be a sook.

    THE CAVALRY ARRIVES by Megg

The injury plague which has beset the Demons 2024 campaign is finally starting to dissipate and with consecutive wins over GWS Giants and a 2-point nail-biter in Adelade, a sense of optimism is rising.  Some commentators are now asking whether the Dees can make finals? A huge surprise with team selection this week when it was announced that champs Olivia Purcell, Paxy Paxman and Eden Zanker would play.   Hallelujah!  The cavalry has arrived. St Kilda missed the finals last season on pe

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.
