NAB CUP 2: PORT ADELAIDE

Sounds like another ripper goal from Sellar to bring us back to life.

If Sellar can bring this form up forward in the early rounds it will be huge.

When was the last time someone kicked more than 5 goals for the dees? Because Sellar is on track.

Here's a surprise, Gillies has 12 possssions!

Like Sellar this bloke will be handy if he can play well - I also think Jetta could be handy down back

Considering the selected side. This is a good effort.

Thanks for the updates guys. I cannot pick up any streams of the radio...(Perfect Weather!!!) or is it vodaphone? Grrr

Like i mentioned before we need our possession rates up. Its the same story as last year. We hang on for a bit but eventually the weight of disposal = opposition scoring. Fair enough its a fairly weak team, but port aren't playing a first class side either.

It's clear that the Neeld heirachy do not rate possessions highly. The emphasis is on contested possessions, tackles and clearances. we are winning two of that three.

Kents my man!

can anyone explain what happened with that interchange non-50 meter debacle

It sounds like the infringement was called and then they realised they had it wrong and called it back again. I actually like that. I wish more umpires had that sort of integrity.

Jetta with 16 possessions. Playing well.

So lovely to see Sellar has finally delivered the goods. it vindicates Craig's judgement!

Rubbish. He spent 4 years with Swan and Pendlebury. He rates possessions, he just doesn't have quality mids.

They have 11 players with 10 disposals, or more, and we have 5.

It's been the same for years.

I count PA with 12 players with more than 10 and Melbourne with 11 players. Our stats are lower, but its not as diabolical as you suggest.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
