phew I thought it said fight at first.....

He is just looking better and better cant wait for a game to see him in action. Smokey for Chas?

ps: did watts get the ball?

I liked the way Grimes was blocking and shepparding......Good sign...

In pic 11 it is nice to see Jack Grimes holding hands with Couch, but does he realise he's meant to be an opponent in that drill?

Great action sequence Six6Six. Went to training today but by the time I got there the main group had packed up and left. One question, who is number 32 in the initial shots?

What time did you get there? Recently they have been heading back inside for 20 minutes at around 10.30. They then return to the field for around 45 minutes to do match sim and a few final drills before finnishing between 110.30 and 12.00.

Great sequence of shots there triple6. Jones is deceptively quick in short bursts.

You wouldn't believe it I rocked up on the bike around 10:30. Just as the boys were walking back to AAMI. Bugger.

Love the work of Grimes here. First he pushes Couch off from Jones' line giving Jones a space to run into, then continue alongside Jones eventually blocking Magner from the contest. Great photo sequence.

You got to admire how the Nude Nugget has improved all facets of his game. I particulary love how he has turned himself from the Whipping Boy to a loved demon

James magner is a beast look at his legs in pic 8

Awesome job Six6Six.

Very nice display form Jones there. Bumps Magner, forces him to commit to the tackle, positions perfectly to smother the kick, but ends up with it in his hands and off he goes. Grimes putting up the shepherd to again protect the carrier and look who it was. Magner coming in for the revengeful bump back.

I truly hope we display more and more of this as the year progresses.

And you have no idea what that corrective surgery set me back!!

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
