I hate nicknames. I don't understand opposition teams forums.

So Stingrays is your real name?

And for the poster who opined that 'Captain Blood' was the best nickname ever - and it is a beauty - I prefer 'the galloping gasometer'. Probably meaningless to anyone who (a) doesn't remember Mick Nolan (B) doesn't know what a gasometer was and © doesn't remember the Arden Street Oval. But those who do will possibly agree that all those things combined seamlessly into the descriptive nickname which I seem to recall was invented by Lou Richards.

Stingrays is not my real name, but it is not a nickname, it is a nom de plume. Totally different.

Anyone have any ideas for a nickname for Cam Pederson? Because I don't think "Pedo" is going to work out.

Yeah its a pretty unfortunate name. I've heard others refer to him as "pedders" which i think is far better.

Viney doesn't have a nickname.

Nicknames have Viney.

A tough one to find for Jack

I thought D2 (r2d2) Dee2 as Todd is 1, his son 2nd.

Little, indestructable , unstoppable, keeps going.

Then again R2 (artoo)

Michael Evans nickname is 'Pickles', but I think he should be called Greg. Who is apparently a Dees fan. So there you go.

Thats a Perfect Match.

Some of you have been around the change rooms surely.

We must have someone we can name. The Horse or Python. or the other extreme Acorn.

Edit :- Unless the nickname Monty is the same for Shannon Byrnes

From all reports Jamar has all the prerequites covered to earn the Horse nickname. I didn't think he had a long face and big ears, but there you go.

Also, while I love the Priest for CP, what about Herbert (or Herbie). If anyone watches Family Guy you will know what I'm getting at. For the non-Family Guy watchers, here's a sample...

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
