Anyone else feel just a little bit happy that Adelaide lost Kurt Tippet for nothing? I know its a long time ago but losing Scott Thompson after we had nursed him through a few injury riddled seasons really burned me. Particularly as we got nothing in return when he walked out..

Besides I like the word schadenfreude.....

In addition to Bock and Davis? They've been caned in the last three years and I never really begrudged them for taking Thompson anyway. Any karma they they were due I think they've paid and then some.

They didn't take Thompson away.

He asked for a trade to go home IF the club could get one they benefitted from. At the time the deal they got I thought was fair.

As I understand it, a deal hasn't been reached yet with the Swans?

So if they can't come to terms and he decides to nominate for the draft, wouldn't GWS just go "yep, we'll take him"?

Not sure GWS will be suckered like we were on Ball.

Happy to revel any other club's misery regardless, we've sure as hell had enough of it around here.

Are you serious? I feel for Crows supporters.

Bock, Davis, Gunston and now Tippet ? I would be fuming

At the time I wouldn't ordinarily have taken pick 12, but Port Adelaide weren't interested so that severely hampered our ability to get the best deal. With that in mind, Adelaide's offer was fine.

The thing that burns me up is their ability to play finals even when they lose these highly rated players. I want some of that misfortune!

You're right - he hasn't got to the Swans yet....

And yes they have been hard done by.

Feel for Crows supporters .

Ya gotta be kidding.

I've already watched them win 2 flags including 1 in a finals series where we smashed them by 52pts.

They are better than 50/50 shot at any SA player that wants to "Go home".

I couldn't give a toss how many players they lose.

100% agreement from me My TD

I hate them with a vengeance.

The only thing that the Tippet episode does to me is put a smile on my face.

the real schadenfreude has got to be the whole HWFUA situation

especially further sweetened when giants with 15 first rounders play him in the magoos

Schadenfreude could still prove a useful AFL player....if he can get a clearance from the Bundesliga.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
