Yes, but this is all a technical skill. Brad Miller's kicking was terrible when arrived, but his kicking improved.

He's harder at the ball and the man than 95% of the players on our list.

Bail is definitely not the worst player in our team. It seems he has the right attitude, professionalism and seems to train hard which seems to be exactly what Neeld is trying to bring into our team. I think Bail will hopefully become more of a depth player for us who might replace an injured player during the season. That will mean our midfield is becoming stronger and more skilful.

If everyone has a good look at Bail's kicking towards the end of the game, he kicks and looks exhausted, yet he still gets up and keeps running flat out. Example was towards the end of the Saints game and he had a shot on goal that was pretty woeful.

I think a lot of players are scared to get to that point of exhaustion and still keep playing. Because they know their skills will drop off if they did.

Someone mentioned Jones-ish with his run. I think Jones use to do the same thing, get to a point of exhaustion and not be able to get a good kick/handball off. Once players get use to that level of effort, the skills come back to them. He's a keeper and young players could learn a lot off him.

Theres a few guys on our list who will be 'unlucky' to be delisted.

Bail, Bartram, Jetta, MacDonald are the types of players who could count themselves unlucky if they were to find that their careers had come to an end. Having said that, if they do, our list is likely to be in a much better position than it has been to date, so its not all bad news!

However Neeld's treatment of him post concussion - i.e. straight back in to the side even after missing three weeks, was instructive I thought. The coach is obviously a massive fan.

Spot on Nasher. To be honest at this point i think Neeld's focus will be on players who train hard, follow his direction to their letter, play a specific role and dare i say it 'buy in'. Bail fits this criteria as does Nicholson and for that matter Macdonald, Magner and Sellar. All players with questionable skills but go 100% and for that reason í would imagine are part of Neeld's plans for the foreseeable future.
