I have really liked the games of Nathan Jones, Jack Watts, Jared Rivers, Jack Grimes, Mitch Clark, James Frawley and lately Sam Blease and Jeremy Howe. I hope to add to the list this time next year.

Mitch Clark has been the standout. Not only on the scoreboard but his attack on the footy and attitude. If only the rest of the list had a crack like he has. Tommy Mac has shone in a crappy year and will only get better. Blease is only going to get better and Howe flying every game shows that not all is bad.

Howe, Jones and Clark.

Of late, Grimes, Blease.

Watts and Tommy Mc also get a pass.

Tapscott will be the most improved next year.

Mark Neeld with a special mention to Nathan Jones. Jonesy took on the new challenge the same way Beamer didn't.

Calling of a time trial..i wonder who that was?

Who led that charge?

LOL.

You were bagging the shizen out of Neeld a month or two ago. Now he's impressed you.

At least you're remaining consistent, WYL.

Crack in and have a crack?

Fair crack.

Intimate knowledge?

For the MFC it would have to be Jonesy, Clark and Howe.

After seeing them in person last night, Pat Dangerfield and Taylor Walker are super impressive, Dangerfield in particular. His size, breakaway speed and strength through the contests is outstanding. The fact that he had a modest possession count didn't matter as pretty much all his kicks were to advantage. I reckon he will be the best player in the league within a couple of years.

Was impressed by Nathan Jones from his first game and has been my fav player since. I could never understand why people wanted him gone at one stage.

Clark, Tom Mcdonald, Blease, Howe and Nicho

A few others have been mentioned, but I want to add Rohan Bail to the list. Massive heart and provides run all day long. Like to see him eliminate some clangers (generally in two categories - clumsy tackling and poor disposal after a long run).

And I'll add my support to Mark Neeld. I see a positive future after many years of darkness because of his holistic approach.

Mine would have to be Lynden Dunn. I've been really impressed with him since he was moved down back and I think he's fulfilling his role nicely.

I also remain very impressed with our new coach, Mark Neeld has won me over for sure.

Oh and Maxy on Gawn in 60 seconds.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
