Dunn charged by MRP

He got a bump and went down very easily. I thought it was hilarious ... didn't get a free and has obviously been cited for it. It wasn't in play and play was stopped.

Well hopefully he will learn from this and put more focus on playing footy as i should be played - hard and ball focussed: it looked pretty funny at the time and he did fool the maggot :-)

It was only a matter of time before he got pulled up for this. I hate it.

McKenzie needs to stop ducking his head too.

If Jordie modelled the rest of his game on Joel Selwood I would be very very happy.

well then, they would want to be handing around 349 of these each week I assume, Mostly to Lindsay Thomas and Ballantyne.

Good.

I hate players who act for frees. It's cheating.

I hate it even more when it's a Melbourne player.

Ugly behavior and Dunn needs to cut it out.

Yep he deserves to be cited but so does that [censored] Lindsay Thomas and plenty of others

After looking at his head, he hasn't ducked enough.

McKenzie needs to stop ducking his head too.

It works for Selwood.

ugh I hate diving! Just get back up and play the game, maybe you'll land a crucial tackle during the time your trying to appeal for a free.

Shaves the moustache......Liked for once

Dives......hated again :(

There is a difference between ducking the head and acting for frees

Nobody would suggest that Jordie acts for frees - he goes in hard and in many occasions leads with his head - so the simple solution is that if you duck your head into a tackle OBVIOUSLY as Jordie did a few times last weekend- dont pay the free.

Lilly livered acting for frees is another thing - humiliate the players so it is stamped out.

In breaking news, a retrospective penalty has been applied to Matthew Lloyd reducing his goal kicking tally by 322.

Can anyone explain what this is about?

Dunn charged by MRP

It's because he shaved his mo.

They realised he wasn't really there to clean the pool.

Theatrics like Dunn's should get money penalties.

The charge is bringing the game into disrepute - ala round ball.

Lets face it Dunn is a grub.

He invents opportunities to pointlessly push blokes after the action is over,he backs into marking contests with the intention of drawing a free kick; he stages for frees constantly and really obviously as well.He causes trouble that he cant back up with performance.

Thats sort of ok if you're really good to boot, but this is Dunne we're talking about and he just aint that good.

The only reason people hate Milne is because he's good....Unfortunately Dunn isnt good enough to even hate.

He can give it a roost though and in a crepe team with a burgeoning coaching dept he might be worth another year.

I don't know that he ducks, but he does the Selwood-esque driving his when picking the ball up.

On Dunn, good to see people getting cited and charged for it.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
