We need some skill in this side, for the first time this year I think we need to finish as low as possible. Thankfully we don't have to tank because we are shiite.

[censored] you Melbourne.

Every goddamn week. Same [censored].

One man down in this heat, and we are hopelessly out of it.

By my count, we've played about 3 good quarters out of the last 12. Just not good enough.

I cannot express how [censored] off I am about Garland's atrocious game tonight. Deadset, he has singlehandedly cost us this game. As bad as we've played tonight, we still would have won if not for Garland.

Cant watch any more - good luck guys.

Still...a game like this must make a lot of end of season decisions far simpler

really Colin? How does midget Ebert out-mark you? Not one of your best.

Mark Neeld has a shocking football list. Worst by a country mile in the league.

Colin Garland epitomises the weekly brain fades that is this list. This football team is not worthy of watching at AFL level.

10 years behind quality of top 4 teams.

Huh! Did I hear soft hand clapping by the players apologists?

Blease and Green both spray shots at goal .FFS

jamar, jurrah, mckenzie, davey, moloney, clark.. all CRUCIAL to structure.. didnt expect anything else did we?

Faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrkkkkkkkkk!!!!! We are [censored] crap! No ticker. Not one of them.

Jetta's got it. Trengove's got it. Grimes has got it. That's about it.

Your kidding how bad can we get, [censored] poor.

He may have but everyone at the club needs to accept responsibility for where we are.

3 gettable shots missed....

Why bring on Strauss as sub in the heat than play him in a back pocket. What a waste! Silly move by Neeld move his run up the ground

2.7 so far since qtr time... damn fine show Demons !!!

Yeah I do. I expect players earning 100,000's of $$ per year to be able to execute a kick and a handball. Losing players doesn't excuse skills.

Hasn't touched the ball. Great sub.............Jeeeezzzuuusssss

This is by far the hardest game I've had to watch for a mighty long time. My brain is just hurting so badly.

Thank God there is nothing riding on this. Especially when we have no dignity remaining anyway.

Clark and Jurrah play and this game is iced at half time.

It's time for the supporters to rise up and shake the foundation of this pitiful club.

Everything we have done for the last 5 years has resulted shite.

It can't continue I want some bloody accountability 2 wins in a fricken season.

Debt free is great. We can't win a forkin game.

I'm not going to accept it anymore.

Good to see how teams really struggle with losing their sub early.

We've won 1 game by 1 point this year (I don't count the GWS game because it's not a contest). Under Bailey we never lost to Port outside of Adelaide. Enough said.

They wouldn't have made any difference.

Thats the stat that really hurts. Got a start again and failed to go on.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
