Scully Banners

Featured Replies

Posted

Had a look on big footy and thought it was a god idea.

Had a laugh at a few of them and on a slow work day, it would be good to see what hypothetical banners we could come up with.

Id have something along the lines of

"If your talking about the Scullys i feel bad for your son, Phil had 99 kids and didnt eat 1"

A picture of Jim Stynes on the scoreboard throughout the game would work well. Imagine how weasel boy would feel each time it appeared.

DEAR TWO FACED TOM

TAKE YOUR FAT WALLET

AND YOUR PHILTHY FAT OLD MAN

AND GET OFF OUR GROUND.

Lol

The banner should read "You'll always be Gephatto's puppet, Pinocchio!"

Too much for a banner, but this is for those who now dismiss it all with "get over it" and "move on":-

Tom,

had you not been our number one pick,

had you not lied to Jim and your supporters,

had you given us more than just one year,

had your dad not got a job at GWS,

had you not gone "up for just a look"

we may well have moved on.

You made your bed with your dad, have fun laying in it.

Come this Sunday, be wary of the "footsteps"

Or just something really simple like......Thanks Tom......as long as he can READ them....

I was Pi55ed off at the time, but who cares now, move on.

Had we kept Tom,we wouldn't have Mitch and 2 early picks.

WE WON!!!!!!!!

"The truth is out there Scully" - the Ex Files

One word.

"$cummy"

Yeah nice and simple....

I was Pi55ed off at the time, but who cares now, move on.

Had we kept Tom,we wouldn't have Mitch and 2 early picks.

WE WON!!!!!!!!

Yeah we won....yay....but we can still give it to him cant we!??

Yeah we all no we won, its still fun to give him [censored] though. Zero points for trying to take the moral high ground here pal.

Try sinking the boot in, im sure you will enjoy it :)

Yes.

Fee fi fo fum

we want the blood of Phil's scum Tom !!

No Heart

No Soul

So glad Tom has gone.

"LIAR" and a picture of Scully would do me.

He chased the money, as do lots of other players, so he is no different there. But he is a liar, and that is what gets to me. He lied to our club, and our president, and the supporters for an entire year. He lied even when caught at Sydney airport. He had no shame and no regard for anyone but himself. And for that, he deserves to be abused.

I have no time for liars. Have the balls to be honest about your intentions, and you'll always walk away with your integrity.

Liar liar pants on fire.

"Tom who?"

LYING TO JIM

UNFORGIVABLE

WE WON!!!!!!!!

Don't understand this

We may've "won", but we still had a # 1 pick turn his back on the club after giving us little / nothing on field

Sorry, I'm filthy and will be until he retires (and then will still be filthy and tell my future grandkids about what a miserable little mercenary he is)

Number 1 pick

Wore no.31

Wants to be a one club player.

Now eating falafels

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
