Big news, they have a lot of outs but hes a class above everyone but gablett in the comp

I've put $50 on us against my Pie mate. Winning has clearly gone to my head.

This makes me a feel a bit better about my foolishness. Massive out along with Swan. Shut down Daisy and we're talking business.

I thought Swan was close to coming back?

Would you risk him a week before the bye?

The Pies have bigger fish to fry, and coming back from a hammy is something that you wouldn't risk at this stage in the season. They didn't have him agaisnt us last year and we still got pumped!

Unlucky for Pendles, I'd be lying if I said I was disappointed (for this week that is!).

They won't bring back any of their injured players. They'll wait till after the bye and attack the second half of the year.

As a result, they'll have a sub-standard team in.

As a result, they only deserve to be favourites by a margin of about 50 points, instead of 75.

I know we just won, but Collingwood is the premiership favourite, and deservedly so, and they are not weak as the proverbial in the wet, so even if it rains, they aren't going to wilt like Essendon did. If we play our best, and we attack the ball, spread, run, and all that, it could easily be a contest, maybe for a half, maybe for three quarters. Obviously after this round anyone can win, but we really have as little a chance as can be.

Are you more a Supercoach man Old? I'd imagine you'd have Bennell as your captain? :P

I bet you couldn't believe your eyes when the organisers put him up at $560,000 at the start of the year? That was until you realised that they would give you that in credit if you put him in your team!!!

I bag him enough billy so I will leave it at that.

Gives me no pleasure

Good news but they had a slew of players out last year and still pulled down our pants to give us the mother of all spankings. Last year was an embarrassment hopefully we can atone for that next Monday.

He's out, but in comes Swan so they say, and more than likely Tarrant, but will Tarrant pull up well enough?Wwithout their two best mids and key defender the chances are raised slightly but as mentioned, wait for their mid tiers to destroy it, like Wellingham last year.

I reckon Mark Neeld has had half an eye on this game for a while...

Hopefully lightening will strike twice.

McKenzie to Thomas now and he hates a tag (last year Dockers), likes to run with an unaccountable eg Ablett, Dangerfield

Just watch Wellingham, Sidebottom, and Beams stand up.

^This. But I hope not.

Wellingham had a day out last year, Beams is in form and Sidebottom is as slippery as they come these days; real quality.

Swan could be included, so we will have our work cut out regardless.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
