James Cameron has just released footage of when he went recently travelled 11 Kim's to the bottom of the ocean the lowest piont anyone has ever been. If you look closely at the footage you will see the Melbourne football club in the background.it can only get better from here STILL PROUD TO SUPPORT THE RED AND THE BLUE

If you went a further 10 Km's down you'd probably find the Melbourne supporters. Trouble is we can't do a thing about the losses, we just pay our way in and hope for the best, however the future of the club is in the hands of the current players and coaching staff and they can do something about it.

I doubt they have, collectively, the pride and intestinal fortitude to do anything about it though.

5 kms after that you'll see Ablett and GC, along with Scully, Sheedy and GWS smiling maniacally at you...

IF we do what we did tonight, or against WC with them, we'll lose by ten goals to both. And that's absolutely no exaggeration.

Agree, it's pretty sad. Last years poor performances all over again.

Worst midfield in the AFL, a percentage equal of GWS. Carlton, Essendon and Collingwood to come. Depressing.

The game plan is last year game plan, i dont belvie in zone, what neeld has done is take away player instinct insted of looking for the best option, the player are told to play the boundry line. What it does is take the player instinct away, the opposition know what our players are going to do before he even has possie, his oponnt has certain, you must get the opposition to be guessing, how easy is it when someone give an answer to his ? Before he ask the ?

Last year I went to the G and watched us beat Essendon, comfortably, this year they are on top and we are on the bottom; wtf?

WTF? Don't you see that different clubs are on completely different trajectories?

Is it seriously that hard to understand?

I, like even blind Freddie would, see that we are on different trajectories, but I see the W in WTF not as the usual "what" but as "why"?

Spot on Mono..... Why and How are important here. Clubs which were ostensibly in similar positions to us last year... (although generally without the plethora of high draft choices to develop) ...have gone forward (HOW)....and we have imploded (WHY)

... and it's not just get rid of players X,Y,Z (or in our case A,B,C, D,........X,Y,Z)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
