Malthouse is making the defining point and one which I am sure Neeld understands and trying to teach our players.

One player goes to player with ball. His team mates go to handball short release options for that player.

Of course its easy to say but there are alot of judgement calls for the players to make. At least under Neeld we've started...

Hate to say it, but I think Trengove has almost earned himself a game at Casey. Sellar will almost definitely be dropped and there must be one or two others on notice as well.

Sellar has to be dropped next week. He has done nothing today to show he deserves to play at AFL level.

No possessions in third quarter to go with two possessions in first half.

Should be fresh for the final quarter!!!

Cats will have the breeze in the lat quarter, I really hope Neeled sets them a task of winning the last quarter. We shown signs, but I agree with Malthouses assessment of us, we aren't working hard enough and we're not trusting each other.

It's quite funny, the way he's been analysing, it really sounds like someone coaching for Melbourne. He's not even bothering to look at Geelong, it's almost like he feels everyone knows how good the Cats are, he wants to see how good the Dees can be.

Moloney should never play against Geelong. He still thinks they are all better than him!!!!!

He shouldn't play until he learns to get and give...

It's middle tier ball winners that are worrying for us. Moloney and Sylvia need to be doing more.

An liking the effort from Mitch and Spud. Showing why they came right back in.

Come on Dees. Finish off and get some confidence.

we need some run badly...need Bennell

Clarke needs support...also need Petterd and Jurrah

Wondering what happened to "Ted Fidge" and all of his positivity.

Need us to get within 55 points for the line.. C'mon boys don't roll over!!

33 point margin

best for mine are ...Morton, Jones, Clarke , Howe, Frawley, McDonald

Cale has been good today.

Cale Morton will improve under Neeld, i honestly believe that.

Bailey never knew what to do with him.

No 'e' in Clark for the 1653rd time.

I must be getting old. Watts and co laughing up a storm while we're down by 6 goals got a frown from me.

Lighten up.

Still here.

Not enjoying the score, but enjoying the boys working at it and not giving up.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
