Ha ha my bid of $1 also got declined. Would have used it as a rag had I won!

hahahaha. you would be SPEWING if you forked out good dollars for that

Which is the same situation GWS are in.

Haha!! you are joking....that is as valuable as all that crud memorabillia they sell on ch 9, ad nauseum!!

HaHaHa, I think I've seen that Add, the one that makes Terry Wallace wanna "SpewUp".

Good to see Mike Sheahan give him a little whack On The Couch last night. There was a little comparison between the output of the two GWS $6m men - both were very poor. Sky News sports segment was also a little uncomplimentary about our favourite little liar.

PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE! Get used to it $cully, everyone is watching you.

I hope this doesn't drive him to train harder, his knee might flare up if he does.

"The financial opportunity associated with GWS enabled me to secure the future for my family. AFL can be unpredictable - my own struggles with injury last year and the experience of team-mates like Daniel Bell has brought this home to me Loyalty in football is very important to me but loyalty to family is paramount. I enjoyed my time at the Melbourne Football Club and will always be grateful to them for providing my opportunity in the AFL. I wish the club, supporters and my ex-team-mates all the best as they work hard to build a successful future. Now at GWS I see that there is a great opportunity to build something special and I will be doing my utmost to contribute to that, to re-pay the enormous faith the club has placed in me." - not Tom Scully

Obviously, Deez Nutz went to school in a 1990's American rom-com... (IWUAEIIUE)

I need help with this...

I can't get to watch on the couch, what was said?

They started talking about an article in the paper re Izzy having 3 touches for his $6m salary and how unfair it was. Stick with him blah blah blah etc.

Mike went on to say that the really worrying $6m man was $cully, graphic came up showing his poor output - 1 kick, 4 handballs, one goal assist. Mike reckons he's a fan but said $cully wouldn't want to turn in too many more performances like that.

The OX has announced on SEN that Michael Hurley is off to GWS in 2013.

He was spot on with you know who.

Lets see how close he is with Hurley.

Evidently another $1 million a year.

I just hope the bummers spend all year bitching over it like we did

They swear a bit on that site hey ? Gee whillikers ! Never known such language .

This development makes me think that Pendlebury won't be headed up there. Moreover, I reckon Eddie did a deal with Sheeds and Gubby early last year. "Throw Melbourne and Scully under the bus for us (generating us a year's worth of publicity) and we'll lay off your stars Ed". Something like that.

I've always found the Sheedy-McGuire "feud" a tad too contrived.

What I don't understand is, why are those whio are sick and 'over it" of these T$ discussions still keep punishing themselves by constantly viewing and then posting comments? If they are true to their words then they should not be be seen or heard on this topic.

I AGREE - NOBODY SHOULD EVER READ OR POST ON THIS THREAD AGAIN!

...and the next twelves months after as well.

Come on.....nobody in their right mind would [censored] about that sort of thing even a few months after it happened..........would they?

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
