Mobile Version of Demonland

I am trialling a Mobile version of the website. When you visit Demonland from your iPhone or other smartphone it should take you to the Mobile (cutdown) version of the site. If you prefer the full version of the site then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Full Version to be taken back to the full site. If you aren't seeing the mobile version on your phone go to the bottom of the page and click Use Mobile Version.

Please note that the mobile version, whilst being easier to read and post, is a cut down version of the site and not all the features of the Full Site are available.

Please let me know what you think and report any bugs. If there are too many issues then I might have to ditch it because I'm don't want to spend too much time on it as I am happy with the site as it is.

Quick note. To quote a post click on the post in question for more options.

What do you mean?

I kid, I kid.

It's very good, very neat, no double tapping and accidentally clicking stuff. Excellent.

Mine is very slow, but I am going to assume it's because Optus are crap.

Yep, I like it. The full site can be pretty inconvenient on a mobile.

Good stuff.

Well done D'Land.

And Bob, great avatar.

Excellent work Demonland. Looks and runs a treat.

As an aside, I haven app called 'Tapatalk' that essentially scales down a forum for use on an iPhone. Is it possible to register this site with that app?

Obviously, I have no idea of what is involved but thought it worth an ask.

Really good. Clear and simple - thanks!

If you click the icon (the square with an arrow) on the screen directly above the iPhone Home button and then click Add to Homescreen it will place a Demon Jumper icon on your iPhone Homescreen for quick and easy access to the site.

This can also be done for the Full Version of the site.

Just added the DEMON Jumper to my iphone Home Screen...Looks awesome.

Thanks Andy, this cut down version is great for a mobile. I found the full version far to clunky for a touch screen so this is great.

Agreed "Tapatalk" is very good.

Much faster than the full site, great work.

Any chance that you could combine the boards on the mobile version? I'm not a fan of the seperate draft board in general, but even more so on the mobile version as I can not see all recent topics on one page.

No. They pull the data from the same place. It just displays it in a different skin for a mobile.

Works great. Well done

I pointed some of you to the ip board app for I phone a while ago .... Good to see there is a generic web based one

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
