Kicks Nik Nat 87- Jack 174, HB Nik Nat 135- Jack 142, Disposals NN 222- Jack 316, Marks NN 44 -Jack 109, Tackles NN 70 -Jack 45 ( a win to NN here!),Goals NN 12- Jack 20, DT points progressive total, NN 1290- Jack 1422. It is important too to remember that NN is in a team going well getting a lot of support and Jack is in a team really struggling with little or no support. Wattsy will be a real STAR that's for sure. Not so sure about NN. An average of 10 disposals per game is not too brilliant. Time will tell.

Good signs for Jack although you could have provided these stats in a better format (ie averages), and failing to take into account Nic Nat's HO's is bias given he is a ruckman, not a marking forward.

Fair enough about the hit outs but I didn't see the need for averages since they have both played the same number of games this season.

They r very different players and IMO will both be great players for different reasons.

Who cares. We took Watts, he is now delivering the goods and he is the type of player we need going forward. I'd prefer to have Martin/Jamar/Gawn doing our ruck work and to have Watts, than to replace one of our rucks with NicNat and not have Watts.

Plus Watts played as the sub against Gold Coast remember, so his gross figures for this year will be somewhat lower as a consequence...

The way I see it, Watts has become a proven consistent performer for us this year, but has yet to tear a game apart. He was touted as a natural footballer and he's definitely shown all the traits this year in patches.

Nik Nat on the other hand is more of an excitement machine, he's breaking even in the rucking contests thanks to his amazing leap and height, but around the ground does very little. This WILL change.

That was the year the project players took 1 and 2, in 2 years they will both be stars, there is no shadow of doubt in my mind.

Both good players. Both have bright futures.

If we had picked Nik Nat we would big winners just the same.

As others have said both clubs would be really happy l reckon.

Anyone who thinks NN hasn't played some cracking footy at times this year, that shows an amazing future hasn't been watching West Coast - or indeed just looking at the numbers. And ditto for Watts if anyone said same of him.

Good luck to both young men, its been horrible how much they have been compared. Just let them play and both become stars.

I'm very very happy with Jack but misleading stats, Jacks gets a lot as a loose man in defense and both just completely different players.

Watts number one.

Quite probably the deciding factor in choice 1 or 2 was the home town consideration. West Coast would have probably chosen Nic Nat if given first choice on that same criteria. Nic Nat will always have the better highlights reel but we have made the correct choice.

Cheers for the post BM. I got [censored]-on pretty bad Saturday night after the game by a room full of WCE supporters and they brought up the subject of comparisons.

Sure wish I had these figures at the ready.

IMO, Jack will blow Hurley and Natanui out the park for many years to come. Just love it when he practises blind turns on game day..
