hahahahahah ... I dont care about me. I've said that 100's of times around here. I dont give a damn about my creditability.

That would be credibility, not creditability, for all here have credit ability, at least I think all should do. But most of all, many if not all, have credibility which is not creditability (for that's a new unfamiliar word), unlike you. But you could change that if the creditability, sorry, penny dropped.

Hangon007 futile denials of the obvious truth remind me of "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"

hahahahaha ... I'm denying nothing I said. Again you read into what you want, its your right in a public forum.

sorry, I'm no "rocket scientist" or "wordsmith" like you ... sorry I'm just a simple football lover ... just one of the "peasants" so to speak.

No its ok ... I understand. I did not take it personally. We know what we are and we dont run away from it. We are happy to accept all for what they are.

So no offence taken.

Great.

Another thread ruined by hangon007's blatant and repetitive gibberish.

Thanks!

Just a thought after noting his Casey quality...

Why not push to get Warnock and someone (probably Bate) to GWS for a 17 year old? Warnock's primed, he's playing well at all levels, and while his disposal isn't great he nevertheless performs well 80-90% of the time. GWS are going to need a big-bodied fullback to handle things for 2-3 years, and he's got to be a target surely.

Speaking of trade week - If, and that's an if - Tom Scully decides to take the cash and head to the GWS, expect Melb to try and trade for the No 1 pick in the 2012 draft with GWS, with the selection of Jager O'Meara.

After having dinner with a couple of current coaches last week, they both noted that whoever ends up with the biggest trade bait on offer to GWS will end up with Jager O'Meara. Such is the interest, they mentioned that most clubs have already been 'canvassing' who they could put forward as a viable trade option and that Port Adelaide and Geelong appear to have the front running.

For what is worth - from last weeks discussions, I'm expecting an awfully hectic trading period.

Yes I reckon Port are up there. Why Geelong? What do you feel they could put on the table?

Geelong have the pick they received from GC for Ablett. From what I've heard to date, Geelong are the favourites at this stage to snare Jager as one of the 4 underage draft picks in 2012 - and expect a 'significant' number of trades from clubs looking at positioning themselves for picks off the GWS during the next 2 drafts.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
