looks like the corrugated iron sheets were probably stolen from a fitzroy laneway, maybe even earl's

Gotta love contemporary deconstruction architecture. It's a much underrated style IMO.

You're certainly upwardly mobile Special. Happy to see you're doing alright for yourself.

Special has Batman Park become overgrown with trees since I walked past just a few weeks ago? Very odd! The trees must be blocking the view to the Yarra. Do you get WiFi in there?

All this time Special claiming to be homeless.

Batman Park is prime real estate.

Pop up housing like this will become the new normal.

Wouldn't surprise me if special and ferret ,or ratso are sub-letting.

With my recent experience assisting with crisis accommodation ,I'm quite proud of Specials choice of location and Daliesque design.

Well Biffen if my information is correct you may be joining Special in his inner city digs.

I have heard that due to the sale of the Gat your shady business empire has collapsed and you are in a state of extreme penury with creditors at the door you no longer have.

Your "nail technicians" are questioning their illusory visas and former customers for "pharmaceuticals" are looking for more reliable suppliers. I have also heard (and even I find this difficult to credit) that you have been reduced to drinking a cask variety of sauv blanc purchased from the local Aldi.

It seems you have reached previously unplumbed depths.

PS Don't you dare come skulking around The Manor begging for alms.

Dear Uncle I have a very serious question for you.

On the home page there exists an Advertisement for Stelly.com for an item known as a " Playsuit" Tell me uncle.. know you of this garment and what is it's intended use!??

:P

I don't know of the particular retailer you are referring to picket, however, there are many that offer attire for 'special' occasions. If you and Mrs. picket have any particular requirements please let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.

All tastes can be catered for so don't be embarrassed by thinking that your particular peccadildos will in anyway surprise.

I only charge a modest handling fee.

As long as the goods are not "Second Hand" then I'll trust the the handling fee is not tainted but a true reflection of cutting out the middle man! I reckon Biffen, Hemmingway,Earl Hood , Daisy Cutter, and Moonshadow, maybe even Dieter might all be intersted in acquiring a Little extra something! given your knowledge and procurement of such items!

The term we use is "pre loved" rather than the vulgar "second hand" picket.

This is the game where we really need to smash Carlton and go on with it.

It is the typical game we would lose in the past 10 years.

PS. Sorry to throw in a footy post.

As I said earlier Special, sheer luxury! The stories I could tell you about growing up, six of us kids, in a shoebox on the High Street, no parents, they died before I was even conceived! Don't go looking for sympathy from me. Abject poverty can be character building! Look what it has done for me, Special. Toughen up, embrace your abject poverty and turn it into a positive experience, you can aspire to a better life if you just work hard enough. Now you may not get paid award rates but don't let that deter you just keep working for the better life that is always just over the horizon.

BBO ....the podcast......what an effort.....well done. Can't wait for Biffen next week.

May our thoughts go to those suffering the low pressure system which was Cyclone Debbie at the moment. From where it crossed the flattened land and to today where parts of Sth east Qld can expect up to 500mm.

thankfully the banana plantations remain mostly okay unlike the damage inflicted by cyclone Larry and Yasi.

So the good news you ask? Banana prices to remain steady for the time being unless supply is affected by transport - which could be likely, given this storms nature.

Not likely SR.

I am a private person with a private residence .unlike you I have work to attend to.Bitter obviously feels the need to opine to all and sundry on his cerebral impulses, which are as sporadic as a porn highlight reel.

I am not about to air my inanity any more than I do by text to barely literates such as you.

Even you have the intelligence to refrain from such nonsense.and you are an unemployable homeless cretin.

You'll need to remind "demonland royalty" Uncle Bitter what he said, as reports are circulating he was on his 3rd bottle of shiraz and can't even remember which of his servants he climbed into bed with at nights end.

PS. I'd love to hear a podcast interview between Prodee and Stuie. Would get a [censored] load more than 34 listeners.

Ignore him Special, he is a nasty piece of work.

Consider this as Biffen's last pathetic wail. A cry from one who cannot accept that life ( like his exploited workers) has left him behind. His creditors are circling the barely warm corpse and he is reduced to drinking alcohol of a poorer variety than I use to sanitize the Lads' barn. Yet the arrogance remains - for the moment.

Payback will come when  Biffen knocks on the (figurative) door of your sad abode and you will offer him a bucket and squeegee to earn a share of the scraps that you and your dismal clique dine on.

On the other hand Special, I respect your homeless and poor situation, and welcome you to continue your pitiable life where you are.

PS Biffen. My porn highlight reels are not "sporadic" . In fact I have produced many a seamless narrative that push the barriers of artistic innovation.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
