Believe it or not, yes! I have even been to some, albeit many moons ago ...

I have only been to one AFL finals match.

That game was played in 2006 and was the last time Melbourne FC played a final game.

I assumed due to lack of interest (mine) that was the last final game of AFL football ever played, my bad!

With so much happening on the AFL front I can't understand why it is so quiet around here.

Maybe everyone is getting ready for BBO's hedonistic New Years Eve Party, held in the family dungeon in Romsey.

Oops, I think I let the cat out of the bag.

Survived the Xmas festivities. The demon force season review in Yarraville the highlight.

catching up with Ron and Aina with news from the coast added to the nostalgia.

Unfortunately overcome by the euphoria of coming season anticipation can't remember  which away game we will be attending. Tassie Alice or Darwin.

hoping to catch up in the new year.

Any demons in the area wanting to celebrate the potential can attend our New Year Eve celebration in Murmungee.

There will be some alternative team supporters available to banter with and some Mt Pilot to share whilst reminding them that the Demons have many vigneron as supporters. It's as good a reason as any for making demon support your new year resolution.

Enjoy the off season prognostications and don't under estimate. Celebrations are only just beginning.

Hope not. The cat is the main entertainment for the evening. Will be upset if the RSPCA turn up

FLOOD WARNING from SES for Elwood and Elsternwick. Follow SES advice. Listen to radio. More info www.emergency.vic.gov.au

The canal gets full of sewerage and floweth over after s heavy rain. Used to be worse several decades ago. They cleaned up the storm water and septic run off but these 'once in 100 years' events tend to find them out. Of course,  it's all a conspiracy...

I drove past the Elwood Canal last night  near the Elsternwick Golf Course and the canal had broken its banks and flooded the southern end. If you're planning on a quick round of golf there today, I think you can forget it.

I suppose Elwood will be filled with the Debris and refuse, washed down from St Kilda,as always.

Lucky I got out of Melbourne when I did, the natural disasters appear to be getting worse and more frequent. Have they rebuilt from the earthquake in 2012?

I remember it well.

All this carry on in Christchurch when we still have to deal with the aftermath of our own natural disasters.

The struggle continues ....

Trump's Cabinet

Biff to be head of justice and economic development

BBO to run the Presidents Secret Service and Department of Complaints

Moon would be in charge of the Department of Defense and Propaganda

Whisper may run the courts but his honesty and integrity would be a problem for Mr Trump

Trump will need an enormous cabinet, as he is in the habit of firing one person per week ... :)

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
