Extending the wagon to March Uncle Bitter? You clearly taught Jazzy O a lesson. He won't mess with the hipster hobby farmers of Romsay again.

The wagon has derailed, however, you are correct about my victory Moonie. I haven't heard from the Peach Forest boy so I can only assume he is licking his ...err wounds and will not challenge a real farmer again.

BTW - the latest update on Biffen. He is apparently using some of his "funds" to buy building materials from a place called Fiskville and is onselling them to a builder who is renovating a child minding centre. I don't get it but Biff is very excited about the profits involved.

I thought you would have dived off the wagon in to a waiting vat of red :) As for jazza, I reckon he is still pegging away without the durries.

sure it's not Fistville?

The Fire Brigade recruits that received their training there would agree tacky.

My 2015 season of watching AFL football is already over.

As I now refuse to watch Channel 7.

Ok, followed the link... all makes sense now. I hope you also contact channel 7 to let them know your feelings. In fact, if it affects enough people, is it worth considering a petition up on Change.org?

Well done, DF. Stick it up 'em!

To tell the truth BBO,ive actually seeked counselling and faced the fact that the black envelope has descended on my thought's the previous 3 months.

Anyway on the way back to good health i hope.

Didnt enjoy the non smoking and certainly didnt enjoy the ginnspi55 you call wine.

But,definitely on the quit wagon and tasting things and smelling stuff alot better.

Never realised cowchit smelt so horrible, now i know why people avoid Biff.

OD, you must have given them away by now.

No Mr Leg I got almost exactly what I expected.

Happy with the result after all it is practise match no.1

I still think we have a bottom six list not a top four one like Freo.

We are improving I think things are going to plan.

I just think a lot of dees supporters imagine the list is way better than it is is.

I think I have said before that 2016 is the year I think we will move up the ladder a fair bit.

Nothinhg I have seen so far suggests I am wrong.

Happy to be of course.

how did football find its way in here?? :o

Tr4...thought it was Triumphal !!!

Gee they say every dark cloud has a silver lining they say. I feel for the bananna farmers in Queensland but I have a holiday place somewhere down on the Surf Coast is all I will say. Anyway the old guy next door who has lived there for years has a cluster of bananna trees on his property right on our fence line. I, oh I mean he could be sitting on a fortune. TR4 won't jump to the coast any time soon.

The old boy doesn't keep up with the news much these days, maybe I will offer my services at harvest time and the produce will need to be marketed of course. Opportunity knocks!

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

With their season all over bar the shouting the Demons head back on the road for the third week in a row as they return to Adelaide to take on the Crows. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
