I find it quite easy.

We all know (or should know) that young teams are notoriously inconsistent.

Why should we be any different?

It's not that hard when you use your noggen.

Players in (in my opinion) our best 22 with less than 50 AFL games: Bail, Bennel, Garland, Grimes, Gysberts, Jurrah, McKenzie, Petterd, Scully, Tapscott, Trengove, Watts, Wonaemirri.

That's 13 out of 22.

Then look at the players with less than 50 AFL games who are right on the cusp of pushing into our best 22 + those still developing: Maric, Jetta, Martin + Blease, Strauss, Gawn, Fitzpatrick, Cook, Howe, McDonald, Nicolson, Evans. Add Viney to that group.

We are a VERY inexperienced team. We will have our ups and downs.... but look at the bigger picture. In 2 years time we will be ready to peak and all those guys mentioned will be pushing 80-100 games!

Like to know how Viney will be at 80-100 games in 2 years!

In light of the probable delisting of Cook I thought I'd give this a bump.

Thanks for the reminder that Range Rover's posts were as tedious and repetitve in early 2011 as they are in late 2012.

I've had more women than you've had men. ie. A lot.

This just shows your stupidity mate. You're someone that still thinks calling someone gay is an insult.

Didn't realize it was school holidays again so soon.

Lol... That's a very possessive way to talk about women but don't worry you'll learn respect when you get older!

Your sex life matches your contributions to this board. Quantity over quality.

Pages and pages of rubbish...

Here is the Draft..all three..you have a pick in each round, you have a briefing from the Footy Dept, you make a judgement call, it may work it may not...s**t happens.....the Darling situation gives me the s***s....EVERY club PASSED on him

You have 46 players on a list recruited with a variety of methods by a Recruiting Dept, the list changes every year, you have a Coaching group with the brief to turn them into a Premiership winning side....... if that doesn't happen people leave and you start again....simple......turning over the soil page after page after page....achieves what.....nothing.............LOOK FORWARD....you never know the Recruiting Team may get it right this year

If you think that Darling/Cook is the only problem with our recruiting then I suggest you have a long hard look at our list.

No one expects the recruiters to get it right all the time, but a couple every now and then wouldn't hurt.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
