Went from 87.7% to 116.2%. Thanks Suns.

So it's not all doom an gloom. Could come in handy later in the season.

As I said in other threads , we play Gc twice while teams who have drawn only once, % is vital

And if we had actually played well.

I thought we played ok all considered. Sure the 3rd wasn't the best and at times frustrating, but 90 points....could have been 110 point but for the posters and Frawley's opponents lucky snap, but you'd take that sort of win....interstate and all.... .

I was so disappointed with today really nice to get a win and by 90 yep, but really who else will we beat playing like we did? Port? Brisbane? not many others

We just bombed it long to big bodies who are big coz they were playing kids, i liked what i saw from a few people such as trenners, bail, tapscott coming on, morton ect but just didnt think we were clinic in anything we did

I thought it interesting when the commentators mentioned how it is usually unimportant when you have a draw but this year, with all the draws, it will come into play in a big way. StK, Carl, Ess, Syd and us could all be fighting for the one spot*.

What could prove to be the difference between Melbourne either playing finals or just missing out may be the return match against Gold Coast at the G in about round 21.

The Suns have their Second bye in round 8 or 9 so with their players'physical and mental fatigue couple with injuries, an on song Melbourne could and should post a 20 goal plus victory.

If they are serious about taking the next step then they really have to start destrying sides when they're in the position to do so, rather than cruising to unimpressive six goal wins
