All those forgiving him, are as soft in terms of discipline, as he is.

With this poor attitude we are not going to be successful anytime soon.

When are we gunna get tough?

Put in leaders that lead by example...............always!

The real sad part is that he can really play football!

I am supporter of strong discipline and I think by any standards the penalty handed to Beamer is harsh BUT I support it 100%.

When it comes to forgiving him - I saw his presser and his remorse at what he has done. I have seen his track record on behaviour and I have seen how he has led on and off the field. I forgive him.

Did he make a bad error of judgement and a mistake - yes. Does he have a poor attitude ? One mistake does not make for a poor attitude.

We did get tough and I think you will see exactly what sort of leader Beamer is and what sort of attitude he has going forward.

Enjoy some frivolity from the boys over at Betstar, parts below taken from todays edition of the Betstar Blast.

Welcome to this week’s Betstar Blast where something stinks at the Dees. The Melbourne Football Club have stripped Brent Moloney of the team’s Vice Captaincy and stood him down from his position in the leadership group, all supposedly because he went out and had a few on Sunday night. The thing is, if you follow the order of events chronologically you can’t help but see some gaps in the story. The tale that’s being told is that Moloney went out, didn’t urinate on a bar and was then stripped of his position. It would be like me telling you I went out, didn’t pick up a fat prostitute but am going to the doc for an STD test and a hip replacement.

Something stinks, as the punishment just doesn’t seem to fit the crime. Either more went on that evening than the club want us to know, or something has gone on in the past to make this a final strike for Moloney.

Either way, Moloney’s been demoted back to the rank and file and will probably come out this week even angrier than before. I’ve always thought that if there was a “Third Man In” award for the fella who always seems to be first on the scene of a fight he has no business in, it would go to Moloney. With a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove, there’s a good chance he’ll be Fourth, Fifth and Sixth man in this week against the Gold Coast.

I remember a bit of a scuffle against the pies a few years back, where Beamer came from no where and grabbed jack anthony around the throat?

Just shows how little anyone outside the MFC knows. Nothing Stinks-it's all upfront.

I heard that new announcer on late night SEN Tao Pallerzere (spelling??) comment that the MFC obviously did not value the VC Position at all!!!

I got really mad when i heard that, he completely missed the point. (Dawks) supporter

Beamer will be back in the leadership group very soon...better for the experience.

how about we all stop giving a s--t what the media, other supporters, even those at other clubs say, they all all hate us and would do anything to stop us becoming the behemoth we are threatening to become. F 'em

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
