makes season intresting with 4 clubs with half games, brings percentage back into picture as we may be fighting with the three others for a position

Has it ever Happened before? Draws in consecutive weeks?

45 we need your stats!!

We are a chance this year for serious action. The comp has tightened up.

we must beat those dawks on sunday night. It has become a big game now.

I think they said the last time was approx 100 years ago.

But talk back will be flooded with people calling for extra time etc

I for one do not have a prob with the draw, thought it was a great game and think the Saints are in a world of pain this year.

Over 100 years since there were draws in rounds 1 and 2. Will get back to you on consecutive weeks.

Condemned, I totally agree. People whinging about needing a result - a draw is a result!

I went last night, so that's 2 games live for me this year for 2 draws!

I usually hate watching the Saints games, but last nights game was pretty entertaining. I found that the Saints looked to move the ball a little quicker last night, but it actually exposed their lack of leg speed on the G when they play a faster style on that ground.

The Bombers next week at Etihad will be an interesting match. They are basically the Bombers [censored]!

Amazing, the last 3 games a the MCG have gone.....

Draw, Draw, One point

Hopefully it's not like that on sunday, i'm sick of heart attacks at the football already

If we can play with the intensity shown by Richmond for 100 mins. we will beat the dawks.

I have to say that I'm starting to associate the sound of the final siren with a look of puzzled bewilderment on the faces of Saints players

And I'm enjoying it

The Saints blew it last night. Without Hayes, therir lack of leg speed and a few lazy midfielders showed them up.

I just wonder what the result had been if Hayes was not carried off and Jack Riewoldt was not concussed.

A draw on the Board....but a psychological win for the Tigers.

Agree Condemned. The draw should stand as the result.

The last four games at the G have gone draw, draw, 1 point, draw.

You are missing the Carlton win in the first game by 20 point and the grand final win by collingwood

But there have been three draws in the last 6 games at the G

I love the draw, I think it adds an element to our game that not many other sports have, having winners and losers all the time simply isn't appropriate for some contests, leave it as it is...

i know its only early but this season is starting to remind me of 2000 not 4 us i mean but the season was fairly even apart from a really dominate side miles out in front that being the pies this time and not essendon, the rest of the comp is starting to catch upto the saints cats and dogs but still a fair way off the pies

A draw is always 67 $ no matter who is playing I have $20 on draw Melb-Hawks to cover my losses last week when i had Dees to win

I love having 'The Draw', and the randomness of how it hits the ladder at any time of the year.

Also love the Grand Final replay.

I bet the Saints wish they had a hard in and under ball winner to replace Hayes........ maybe like Ball :)

How true.

Also, these changes will. IMO, help them for the future.

I think they will now have to rid themselves of this terrible flooding, and promote football players, instead of defensive drones.

Surprised how soft and slow Dal Santo & Montagna were last night. Surprised because I'd always considered them hard & fast.

I've had a soft spot for the Saints over the years (my grade 6 teacher was Bob Murray) but they will come right back to the field without Hayes.

I think Dal Santo looks slow, he seems to shuffle not sprint. Agree Montagna does not seem to split the lines like he use too.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
