Tbh I think his arm is decent and he seems to make the right decision nearly each time within his limits. Helps with those QB’s that the run game is very good.

Well as the old saying goes, if you have two QBs, you have none 😛

Bengals and Dolphins today.

It kind of infuritates me to see Mike Mcdaniel off to a great start in Miami. I feel like he and the Robert Salahs of the world really helped Kyle Shanahan get to where he is with the Niners.

I'm starting to see Kyle in a way similar to Goodwin in that he can be a bit stubborn and really needs to get some good people around him. The offense is very system based at the moment and there are no wrinkles in the play calling. End rant.

Browns, Chargers, Vikings. Did think about Jags.

Well he did come from the same place as McVay who loves sticking to the same 11 personal, but in saying that, he has gone from 88% 11 personal to 78% 11 personal and is using a WR as a full back.

Listened in after half time but Miami without Tagovailoa couldn't score

Glad to hear that Tua was discharged from hospital so it sounds like he's out of danger

Bengals too good in the end

It was bad to watch, he was cooked the moment his head hit.

They can’t play him next week, even with the longer break, he was wobbly the week before.

It was a decent game but TBH if Bridgewater doesn’t make some really high throws they prob sneak the win. Bengals still look out of sorts. Burrow is feeling perceived pressure on every play.

@titan_uranus@DeeSpencer

Tips!

Really looking forward to SNF & MNF

Bills @ Ravens might have been better suited to a late arvo Sunday slot but a good match-up nonetheless

Vikings & Saints are playing in London with the Saints as the designated home team (12.30am start)

And the Sunday games start at 4.00am, 7.00am - 7.30am and 11.15am (approximately) until Nov 6th

Vikings, Bills, Chargers

3 mins to go in the first half in bills v Ravens and the bills are horrible, dropped catches, interceptions on bad throws, dropped balls resulting in turnovers.
Ravens O has been good but the Ravens D especially in the secondary has been fantastic.

4:05 in the 4th, 20-20, Ravens have it on the 4yrd line and go for it… INT.

Why not kick the FG and take the lead???

Baffling.

Ah sorry I missed this week!

Mind you, I'm pretty sure I'm on 0 so far so it probably won't have made too much difference...

I've never seen anything like it, total brain fade moment.

Packers and Pats locked at 24-24. Might have to sneak off to our showroom downstairs to watch the end on my phone!

Rex Ryan is describing the new QB at the Jets (Zach Wilson) to the great Joe Namath

He's certainly got a great arm and is very athletic ... taken at pick 2 overall, he might be able to turn this team around

Might have just taken a year (2021) to find his feet

Gee @Macca absolutely no pressure on the kid then 😂

@layzie packers pats game was good fun to watch but not as fun as the chiefs spanking the Buccs, the score line in the end flattered the buccs.  Chiefs have unleashed a good RB in that rookie (can’t spell his name)

Ah yes Mr QB whisperer himself Rex Ryan 😛

In fairness I really like the look of this guy and that was a super win for him. He looks like he doesn't get fazed by much in that pocket either which is a big thing to have.

Chiefs are seriously good as is Mahomes

Packers battled but we've changed our approach with a focus on the running game

WR's need loads more time with Rodgers ... a real work in progress.  Still, a win is a win

Got a rocket arm has Zach Wilson ... another gunslinger!!

@Dr. Gonzomight even be getting excited for his J.E.T.S!!

@beelzebubas well if my nemory serves me correctly!!

As for today's game (Rams @ 49ers) may the better team win (as long as it's the 49ers for tipping comp purposes!)

Could be close, all the same

Game starts at 11.15am

I missed the Chiefs vs Bucs game, will try and Youtube that one shortly.

Gonna have to blackout the game today and watch it later :(. Not super confident, offense is still a few weeks off from humming.

Great comeback yesterday but still not convinced. Would like to see it over half a season at least before declaring him a franchise QB.

2 INT yesterday and a couple of the completions in Q4 were down to great catches rather than great passes - would be nice if we had an O-line that wasn't crumbling at the seams though!

Really like the look of Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner so far though, finally some decent playmakers on both sides of the ball. Haven't seen that since Revis/Holmes circa 2010. Hall and Davis have been good on offense too.

Next few weeks will see whether we have improved or not though. Miami, at Green Bay, at Denver, New England and Buffalo before the bye. If we go any worse than 2-3 it will be disappointing.

Jets are my team but I also keep an eye on Tennessee, Carolina and Jacksonville. Panthers seem destined for a top 3 pick but Henry has regained his pre-knee injury form and Jags are looking good so far. Was hoping they would upset Philly yesterday and they got off to a sizzling start but unfortunately not to be. Lawrence looks far better this year with competent coaching but needs to work on that ball security.

Edwards-Helaire I think

Just as stupid as the Browns doing it at the start of the game. End up losing by 3. D'oh!!

And how about that double doing FG attempt in London! Poor Saints fans haha

There was a time during the current Melbourne cycle that goes back to before the premiership when the club was the toughest to beat in the fourth quarter. The Demons were not only hard to beat at any time but it was virtually impossible to get the better them when scores were close at three quarter time. It was only three or four years ago but they were fit, strong and resilient in body and mind. Sadly, those days are over. This has been the case since the club fell off its pedestal about 12 months ago after it beat Geelong and then lost to Carlton. In both instances, Melbourne put together strong, stirring final quarters, one that resulted in victory, the other, in defeat. Since then, the drop off has been dramatic to the point where it can neither pull off victory in close matches, nor can it even go down in defeat  gallantly.

  • CASEY: Footscray

At twenty-four minutes into the third term of the game between the Casey Demons and Footscray VFL at Whitten Oval, the visitors were coasting. They were winning all over the ground, had the ascendancy in the ruck battles and held a 26 point lead on a day perfect for football. What could go wrong? Everything. The Bulldogs moved into overdrive in the last five minutes of the term and booted three straight goals to reduce the margin to a highly retrievable eight points at the last break. Bouyed by that effort, their confidence was on a high level during the interval and they ran all over the despondent Demons and kicked another five goals to lead by a comfortable margin of four goals deep into the final term before Paddy Cross kicked a couple of too late goals for a despondent Casey. A testament to their lack of pressure in the latter stages of the game was the fact that Footscray’s last ten scoring shots were nine goals and one rushed behind. Things might have been different for the Demons who went into the game after last week’s bye with 12 AFL listed players. Blake Howes was held over for the AFL game but two others, Jack Billings and Taj Woewodin (not officially listed as injured) were also missing and they could have been handy at the end. Another mystery of the current VFL system.

The Demons head back out on the road in Round 10 when they travel to Queensland to take on the reigning Premiers and the top of the table Lions who look very formidable. Can the Dees cause a massive upset? Who comes in and who goes out?

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.
