Frawley to defeat whoever he plays on.

I'm surprised nobody's said this yet

watts to get rising star nomination...by kicking 3 and having a strong influence on the game.

frawley kicks the ball out from full back to himself and runs on to kick a goal from 70m out.

Because it is such a soft predicition to make, Frawley is in red hot form at the moment and it is expected that he will beat his direct opponent. He is a defender that opposition forwards need to plan for.

Lions to play well at home and probably win - Demonland to go into meltdown because it shows "nothing's changed".

Brisbane's last 3 Gabba outings:

R10: defeated Collingwood by 8 pts

R13: lost by 19 to the then rampant Tigers (who had smashed West Coast and then beat the Swans either side)

R15: lost by 14 to St.Kilda

It's a bit like Adelaide in Adelaide.

Perspective improves mental well-being.

Junior to come back into the side and have 9 tackles. Demons to win a close one by 9 points. Binell to be our leading goal-kicker with 4.

Paul Johnson will be Best On Ground, 3 goals with one to be nominated Goal of the Year

ooooo, half right.

brown and fev completely shut down

IMO this has to be the winner as it is the only one that was 100% correct along with Dandeeman who said Frawley would beat whoever he plays on but that just goes without saying now! Go the Chip!

The Boss with PJ's goal of the year effort goes close as does The Jacks 9 point margin.

The Jacks was disqualified for this effort - "Binell to be our leading goal-kicker with 4" - we have nobody in the team by that name plus the closest name to that was a bloke who who didn't kick one goal let alone four.

And the winner is ... over to you Joeboy (you're the judge)

I'd have to say that Grimes 16 is this week's winner for his ( not unlikely ) prediction that Brown and Fevola would both be shut down .

It would be hard to beat Carn dees correct prediction from the last round that Jordie McKenzie would effect 12 tackles on the Swans.

BTW Carn Dees said Jordie would hit double figures - he never said 12 tackles :P

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
