gOLLy 401 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Melbourne Backs: Bartram, Frawley, Bruce Half backs: Grimes, Rivers, McDonald Centreline: Green, Trengove, Davey Half forwards: Jones, Miller, Scully Forwards: Bennell, Watts, Morton Followers: Jamar, Moloney, Jetta I/C: Bate, Sylvia, Gysberts, Garland Emg: McKenzie, Cheney, Newton Team changes In: Tom Scully, Jack Trengove, Matthew Bate Out: Matthew Warnock, Joel MacDonald, Austin Wonaeamirri
DemonWorshipper 304 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Looks like Garland is fit considering neither Warnock or Macdonald were named in the emergencies!
titan_uranus 25,255 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Wow. Did not expect Warnock to get the chop. Especially given Rivers holds his spot (ridiculous really). Wonna unlucky. Thought he was tackling and applying good pressure in the forward line. MacDonald was to be expected. The ins are good, Scully Trengove and Bate all make us better and we're better adapted to Carlton. I just wish it was Rivers out instead of Warnock.
Bates Mate 4,520 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 good changes, Warnock a bit stiff but he did get pantsed by the POD last week and carlton's midget forward line mean no match up bring on the bluescum
Strawbsodwyer 0 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 whats going on with warnock? dropped because of carlton's pace in the forward line? would that thought rivers would have been the first to get chopped.
Bates Mate 4,520 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Looks like Garland is fit considering neither Warnock or Macdonald were named in the emergencies! I think Cheney might get a deserved call up if Garland does not come up
Vagg 2,449 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Would love to see McKenzie & Cheney squeezed into that side!
Bates Mate 4,520 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Mclean dropped as well! what!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting 8 months to boo him , I will now go with thanking Carlton everytime Jizzsperts gets a possesion
buddha82 12 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Carlton Team B: Aaron Joseph, Michael Jamison, Bret Thornton HB: Steven Browne, Andrew Walker, Jordan Russell C: Kade Simpson, Chris Judd, Heath Scotland HF: Ryan Houlihan, Jarrad Waite, Andrew Carrazzo F: Eddie Betts, Setanta O’hAilpin, Matthew Kreuzer Rucks: Sam Jacobs, Bryce Gibbs, Marc Murphy Int: Joe Anderson, Jeff Garlett, Mitch Robinson, Richard Hadley In: Houlihan, Waite Out: Henderson, McLean
titan_uranus 25,255 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Damn it. Really wanted McLean to be out there. That sucks.
Nasher 33,686 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Reckon it's strange that both Warnock and Macdonald got the flick ahead of Rivers, and neither are emergencies. Oh well, not too shabby all the same.

jayceebee31 768 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Looks like Garland is fit considering neither Warnock or Macdonald were named in the emergencies! Don't forget Cheney is named and can play tall as well
buddha82 12 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Reckon it's strange that both Warnock and Macdonald got the flick ahead of Rivers, and neither are emergencies. Oh well, not too shabby all the same. Agreed. I think we almost look a little stretched down back without him there - who plays on Kreuzer or Jacobs while they're forward?
Longsufferingnomore 1,691 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 how did Rivers survive. Warnock has to be match ups or maybe sore cant be anything else.I would have liked to have McKenie in that side.
Grand New Flag 3,227 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Dam! McLean getting dropped. I really wanted to boo him and beat him.
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I have a feeling they are giving Rivers every chance to prove that he still has a spot in the side, and that they'll stick with him for the rest of the season before making a call. Very surprised about Warnock though. He had a shocker last week, but I definitely see him as part of a our future. So happy to see Scully and Trengove back. Good team! Disappointed about Brock, and I reckon the boys will be too. It was a bit of an added incentive to win.
Chook 15,070 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Rivers is still in because of his leadership ability, I'd say. They really talk him up in that regard, so I'm not surprised he's still in. Similar to Bruce, there must be things he does that we simply can't see.

e25 5 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 HahahahhaBahahahahaha aha. McLean dropped! Immediately after the Hun runs a story on Judd advising Brock on how to deal with playing against his old team this weekend! Hahaha on top of your game Hun, keep it up http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/judd-his-tips-for-teammate-brock-mclean-on-facing-old-mates/story-e6frf9jf-1225875108975
DemonWorshipper 304 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Don't forget Cheney is named and can play tall as well Cheney is definitely an option and seriously deserves it as he has been starring with the Scorps.
Roost It 1,434 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Don't forget Cheney is named and can play tall as well Does he bring a stool!!
Rhino Richards 1,467 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Don't forget Cheney is named and can play tall as well Can he play small to start with? Not fast enough for the smalls. Not strong enough for the talls. Rivers is still in because of his leadership ability, I'd say. They really talk him up in that regard, so I'm not surprised he's still in. Similar to Bruce, there must be things he does that we simply can't see. He would really want to do better than rely on that. Dropping marks and poor disposal are not the hallmarks of a leader.
titan_uranus 25,255 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 He would really want to do better than rely on that. Dropping marks and poor disposal are not the hallmarks of a leader. Agree. He's pushed Warnock out of the team. He's going to have to give a heck of a lot more than what he's been giving to make that a good move.
