Natanui watch v Sydney

I'll preface this by saying he's a very, very overrated player

0 disposals 7 hit outs 2 tackles 12 minute mark second quarter.

Seen running just off the side of the screen ready for an easy possession the whole game so far.

Posted

Yep.

I don't care what NicNat has done so far, I'm still very happy with our choice of Watts.

If only I had a hot tub time machine...

Posted

Naitanui is totally over-rated.

He's played 2 decent games, one of which was a NAB Cup game. Both were against Essendon. Some players just perform better against other teams or opponents.

The hype is ridiculous.

Posted

I tell you what, he'd be no good in our team, with our relentless pursuit of the ball carrier in the last three weeks and going forward. One weak link and it all falls apart

Posted

see that at full back? White was his opponent and just let him run right off. aaarrgggghhhh

3 possessions until half time.

Where were you fellow nay-sayers on the Jack Watts thread?

Can't wait to see him on Mark "AA" Jamar.

Jack Watts threads are a no go for me for now. Jamar will smash this chump

Nice goal from Naitanui there from 50m

His only disposal for the quarter

But listen to Russell Crapping on about him being inspiring. Makes me sick

Posted

Don't have to bag Naitanui just because he's performed better than Watts so far. Both will be great players.

Bit hard for Watts to perform when he's not playing.

But yes, you're right. Naitanui's playing well (not spectacularly and game-changingly, as everyone seems to think), and Watts did close to nothing in his 3 games.

Posted

You'd hardly know he was playing in this game. Surely they can't give the Rising Star Award to a bloke who gets 4 touches in 3 quarters while playing out of the middle.

Posted

4 useless possessions, one good possession one goal.

I'm happy with that!!!!!!!!!

Onto the main event.

Posted

You lot need to move on, your insecurities are showing

Posted

So far in there short short careers NicNat owns Watts so please be nice when bagging a player

No, the media owns Nait 'cheapo possessiono' nui

Posted

seriously what sort of supporter actually defends Naitanui and bag Watts, especially when NN had an indisputably rubbish match and is clearly ridiculously overated

Who is this Naitanui person anyway?

I agree, gonna be a great player...

But. I think you'll find most people are just at odds with the commentators. He's gonna be great, but the carry on is a bit sickening.

Jack Trengove should win the rising star award, he is the best young player going around. Beats the hell out of NiK NaT.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
