the only thing i agree with in your post, is yes you do answer your own questions, :wacko: do you stand in your bathroom at home and talk to yourself in the mirror, Bruce is finished, fancy blaming Mckenzie for Bruces bad decision, i hope Bruce kicks 5 goals tommorow, i dont want him to fail,i believe that his decision making is pathetic and hes finished. B)

The fact that you think Bruce's role is to kick goals just shows how little you know about him. I'm glad you want him to succeed, but just be aware that he's not, in fact, finished, despite you pointing it out time and time again without backing up your claims with any form of reasoning other than the catch-all cry of "terrible decision-making". If he were finished, then he'd be out of the team. As for the argument that he's not taking us anywhere, I would argue that wherever we get to in the future will be a result of the actions of the people who are there today. And that goes for off-field things as well. Bruce is a fantastic runner and in a game in which endurance and work-rate is key, I think he is, at the very least, a fantastic person to teach the work-rate required to play well.

This mob got his name right at least... ahh Jack Trengove, for I must have been on some heavy [censored] the last time you played against Adelaide and racked up 30 possies... Do 'webmasters' know what football is, or is html & code their reidwolt and judd?

Ok then, Mr Talent Scout, if you are calling Bruce a spud, tell us your criteria that a player must pass to be considered 'good' enough. I defy you to complete this exercise without making 3/4 of the league, and most of our list, redundant.

Scully turned the ball over 6 times against collingwood (not saying he is pathetic, he is far from it) where Bruce turned it over TWICE, the team efficiency average was 69, Bruce 74% he was in our top 6 in disposals... FYI Bruce toped disposals against Hawks and only had what seems live ONE turnover...

Bruce = Scapegoat

Look. You will get nowhere here using facts. How dare you. Using people's online anonymous prejudices against them with facts is just below the belt. Pathetic mate! :wacko:

It probably just means he'll be the 'active' emergency (depending on whether the other emergencies played). Whenever the emergencies are scheduled to play for the AFL side they always keep at least one out of the side to make sure one of their emergencies is actually able to play if needed.

Bate would be very stiff to be dropped, someone mentioned in a previous thread about Bate did clutch at the groin after Swan's smother and might not get up. He should not be dropped even if he is under done and needing of game time to reach his peak in about round 8.....

I disagree. I believe if they need to get form and are underdone they shouldnt be in the team. Bate is not doing what someone of his experience should be and I dont think we can afford to have someone working into form taking a spot of someone who is putting in at Casey.

I agree, MFC should play Bate like they are playing Watts. Sit Bate in Casey for 3 rounds ,get his fitness & form up then he can play the season out.

Yeah but of all the emergencies he's the one most in need of getting game time under his belt, so it's weird that he was the chosen emergency.

I have a weird feeling he's playing today. Of course I have no evidence to prove that whatsoever, but I live in hope ;)

Indeed, it is strange. You'd think he was either in or not.

Was thinking the same thing Jaded, Col needs gametime. If he doesn't play it was a strange choice.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

    BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

    Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
