You're probably looking at just under an hour on the train, so you might wanna get a train around quarter to 1.

Because im such a good bloke, I had a look and there is one at 12.48 ;)

I would have liked to have seen Zomer get another crack.

I wouldn't think he is in the mix for round 1, and the thinking is this game would be for fine tuning heading into round 1 and for the players who are in the mix to show the coach one last time they deserve a spot come round 1

So will someone be able to post some updates today for those who cant get all the way out to Casey?

Hope to do that if the iphone works.

Today, I'm going to attempt to live blog the game with pre game comments in the car on the way there, scores at least at every interval and post game comments from the car on the way home.

This is all subject to technology (including the battery) holding up in the wet conditions and Redleg managing to find his way to Casey Fields.

Discussion centering on being ripped off by tradespeople and bad service in restaurants.

Traffic moderate.

Just passed Delarue Tyres in Carnegie - sellers of HANKOOK tyres.

Good omen - I just hope we're travelling in the right direction to get to Casey.

Delarue Tyres i'm pretty sure were a past (perhaps still) player sponsor, nice plug

I'd be particularly interested in what the ratio of Melbourne/Dogs fans is

a ) at the start of the game

and

b ) at the end

With enough sponsorhip in place to ensure survivial for a couple of years yet, the attention begins to turn to the big growth strategy. Will we have an extra 50-100,000 supporters in five years, just 'cos of Casey?

And DeLaRue is the guy at Hankook who practically made the sponsorship happen at that end, by all accounts, so EXCELLENT plug!

Just passing Strawberry Fields residential estate. Ten minutes away from the ground. This would be sensational except for the fact that Redleg's playing Doobie Brothers rubbish.

Jack Grimes out. Brock has shaved his head bald and looks like an alien.

Spencer gets first hit out but the Dogs get first score - a behind.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
