tbh I don't get the point you're trying to make either

I agree, I can't see Rhino's point, plus it's factually incorrect. Davey and Martin nominated for the national draft but were overlooked. And I would have thought that Davey has cemented an AFL career.

Missed the point and nitpick. Par for the course isnt Mo?

This is pure gold. I can't believe I'm contributing post #54 on Charlie freakin' Gardiner.

I haven't read them all, but I will suggest that whether Gardiner is better than 3 or 4 or 8 current Melbourne players is not of concern to me. What is of concern is making sure Melbourne either used the first pick in the preseason draft on a player who may legitimately aid us in our premiership quest, or pass and have filled our list via the national draft. Using the pick on a guy who has been rejected by 2 clubs, is clearly not up to it and wouldn't be part of our best 22 is a complete waste of everybody's time and would be another list management calamity. Gardiner being better than players like Bartram isn't a reason put them both on the list, it's a blatant hint that neither of them should be on there.

It stopped being about Gardiner awhile ago and has been turned into another excuse for Freak and co. to malign one of our own.

I'm still asuming that it is a "no" on Gardiner though?

That in itself is pure gold pantaloons. Who would of thought?

Quite right Pantaloons, and as you say Gardiner would clearly not legitimately aid us in our premiership quest after being rejected by not 1 club, but two clubs.

Why some 'people' are even contemplating Gardiner is bizarre, given their thoughts prior to trade week, demanding more picks and upgrading of picks. I would've thought they would rather fill our list via the national draft than have Charlie "freakin" Gardiner!

Are you in cheer squad HT??

What the Charlie Gardiner cheer squad?...No Goose. You should know that because it seems there is only two members...and you're one of them.

the freak is all over you and you can just tell by your tone HT that your only a little boy!!

........

 I hope for your sake, you can interpret this quote of yours....because I can't decipher this for the life of me!

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
