may ultimately happen now given something that happened at Cats, but it certainly didn't happen the way you reckon mate. I asked his mum today and he was DEFINITELY NOT at that pub when you reckon he was.

He will either end up at dees or north at this stage, but don't start crowing champ about your original post. You may get lucky but you will still talking crap about the circumstances.

Haven't you ever told your mum a little white lie?

papers all say he's going to essendon goddammit

cmon dees, get in there!

from what i have heard, both Essendon and Melbourne are interested. however, essendon at this stage hold the upper hand as they are prepared to offer him more money. melbourne not budging on what they offered, both deals believed to be 3 years.

but essendon, on this basis, are favoured to secure prismall.

Not overly perturbed.

deestroyers. i dont believe he was in the pub. he had just had a knee reco and most likely was not out drinking that night.

everyone knew he was keen to leave geelong for oppertunity sake, and we hold all the cards, so we were always going to make a play for him.

So you're saying that it's common practice for a footballer to tell a total stranger in a pub that he's going to another club, prior to telling his current club? Yeah right!

Maybe you don't get out much? Footballers are just people. You'd be amazed what they tell total strangers, let alone a familiar face.

That may well be an issue. B)

However, I would concur with Mo's views on this. Unless the player was taking the p1$$ out of an unknown supporter, I cant see why a player would divulge such sensitive information given the players contractual arrangements have not been agreed. It would bizarre even taking into account the ground breaking fact that "footballers are just people". :o

Spoke to Brent Prismall last night at the Geebung, and yes, straight from his mouth came the words that he is going to be a Demon in 09 and beyond.

Said the Cats offered him 2 years, and we have offered him 3. He wants opportunity, which he cannot see himself getting at the Cats.

So he wants to be a Demon, it just has to happen.

Call me whatever you like, it came straight from him.

Also in attendance last night at the Geebung were many Saints boys, and a one Michael Voss.

you know what I'll call you.....a bloody knobhead

How else would I know about it, mate.

Haha go ask his mum, may aswell have asked Chris Judds grandma.

What, does she hold his hand every night and tuck him into bed? The kid was out for a beer. Hes not 16, he doesnt need to tell Mumsie what he does every night.

the info at first was fine. maybe you talked to him, maybe you didnt. maybe he lied to get rid of you, maybe he wasnt even brent prismal.

but what makes you a goose is the way you came back here and carried on, BEFORE it was a done deal.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
