I just spent 20 minutes trying to find this thread and now find it's been pinned.

BTW very strong possibility of a band playing on the night, a rockabilly band who have been giving "It's A Granf Old Band".

Haha maybe i'll PM him!

Took photos of some other things i'm giving away. Bit reluctant too, but at the same time i don't really need them anymore and someone else might enjoy it, and the club benefits!

The bidding has started for the book, someone has already bid $30 on it

I used to have that Hotter than Hell video from 98. It is well worth a look for anyone who has not seen it. Apart from the awesome footage of an amazing year and interviews with the players there is the most stirring rendition of Grand ol Flag I have ever heard. It`s sung real slow by a female singer whilst they show some highlights of the year and other famous Melbourne moments. If it doesnt send shivers up your spine you are not a Demon!

45 hotgod, I'm there, in fact I can't wait. I'll bring the audio of the 1964 premiership to warm us in in the early stages.

I will love you forever if you somehow upload that to the internet. Im sure all demon supporters far and wide would be eternaly grateful

Get along on the night, bring as many mates as you can, and that's how you can hear it!

Haha the teddy is great, the song is shocking, but that's half the charm!

The Hotter than Hell video...is great. I remember sending an email to Daniher asking him to have the guys watch it.... in one of our slump periods.

And the 150th Book is absolutely fantastic.... very classy to look at and a great read

Great stuff to all those involved in this worthy exercise. Well done.

However, posters should ensure that their pledges/bids are definite, firm and not misleading to the process.Make sure when you bid you so in full bona fide spirit. This is for the benefit of the Club and hoax bids and their authors will not be tolerated and subject to the Code of Conduct.

Ben strikes back to take a 5 point lead!

Carnthedees, thanks for the input. Do you want to bid on any?

Just a reminder to anyone coming down to bring any little MFC thing they wouldn't mind departing with so we can raise as much as possible

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

2024 Player Reviews: #35 Harry Petty

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success. 2024 Player Reviews: #22 Blake Howes

After a bright start to the season, playing mostly in defence, Howes seemed to lose his way in midseason but fought back with some good performances at Casey and finished the year back at AFL level. 2024 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Unfortunately, didn’t quite get there although he did finish equal sixth in Casey’s best and fairest award. Date of Birth: 23 February 1999 Height: 198cm Games CDFC: 14 Goals CDFL: 13

2024 Player Reviews: #10 Angus Brayshaw

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed. 2024 Player Reviews: #40 Taj Woewodin

The son of former Demon Brownlow Medalist Shane, Taj added a further 16 games to his overall tally of games but a number were as substitute. He is slowly fitting into the team structure but without doing anything spectacular and needs to take further steps forward in 2025 for his career to progress.
