  1. Me too (minus the GT stripes). Went like the clappers, great car! Zero street cred. v the MGB
  2. Google 'Ketogenic Diet' and you'll get all the info you need
  3. What's wrong with the normal strip with white or blue shorts?
  4. I'd prefer it to the all white when playing say St Kilda. At least red is one of our colours.
  5. If we wore the red one with red shorts, we wouldn't have to drag the white one out at all. Prefer red to the all white.
  6. I love a challenge! Ashley Hanson WCE Nah, I think you're right
  7. Of course, because he wanted to join the second bottom team in the comp to be with his close mate Bernie, just like Ollie wants to with Jack Viney!
  8. I don't think she's particularly good or bad - run of the mill. I do think she does the research though and a lot of it too. Now if you want a genuine pretender who feeds off the (informed or useless) opinion of others, then look no further than the 'draft guru' Callum Twomey
  9. Most members of the public have no interaction with the players, during or after. Some have the odd chat and some stalk the players. There is no chatting at all with players when they're on the oval. They often come off to change gear, get a drink or treatment. It's here or before/after the session they might get bailed up.
  10. I suspect he wants to be at the club, is seeing the writing on the wall and that's his manager doing all the chess moves.
  11. WTF? How did Kent not get in the best? All those goals came when he was playing in the midfield! Did you not even watch the game?
  12. I would hope we now have the systems in place to pick up if Mahoney's no good. I don't think a whole lot would get past Jackson. It's hard to tell with Mahoney. He might have been an alright coach with a forward line to work with or he might have found his niche as a football administrator. I think he's squeezed in an MBA as well and while that doesn't guarantee he has a clue, it shows he's committed to the cause and self-improvement, unless of course, he got it from Deakin. Edit: Joke
  13. Looking at that you'd have to say Roos should leave the drafting to Taylor and Viney. His input should be limited to - we need mids of x type, followed by....etc' By all means let him work his magic with the trading but stay the hell away from the draft (in the nicest possible way).
  14. Looking at the video you can also see Hogan, Salem and M Jones not far behind (plus one other - maybe Newton?)
  15. FFS get a grip. Bernie made a lame joke and I hope he had a few beers because it was ordinary. He's a country lad and I daresay is way more desensitised to this than city folk. I doubt he would've posted it had he seen the anguish of the owners, strappers etc It's sad for the horse and connections but [censored] happens.
  16. I was there around midday today and there was nobody there. Well there were 3 soccer players but they don't count. Glad I could contribute.
  17. I think Everitt's problem was more attitude related, but after many years fart arsing around Mick Malthouse seems to be pushing the right buttons.
  18. His style looks quite similar to Andrejs Everitt.
  19. Don't get too comfy, you've got training and match reports to write up and post!
  20. Garland had zero preseason last year and boy did it show. It will make a huge difference if he gets a full preseason and gets back to his earlier form.
  21. I don't think there were too many complaints about Neeld the assistant coach, which is effectively what he will be (if this is true). I've got no problem with that and good luck to him. He wont get (or want) another senior coaching gig, nor should he. If it doesn't work out and the bummers go backwards, even better. Is there a bit of a pattern developing maybe, with the appointment of disciplinarians as development coaches?
  22. Very excited by this news. I assume he's been appointed as development coach and what a great get. I hope the players can now understand the quality of the coaching panel, play to their abilities and move up the ladder rather than wallowing in our recent history. Go Dees!
  23. Up until 2012, we played Richmond twice, with our home game being the 2nd game. From then on we have played each other once with it being Richmond's home game. I would expect this to continue, knowing how the AFL operate these days and we will be slung a few to 'level' it up a bit. I would hope that the home game is rotating as it should be. My greatest worry in this article is that Richmond play 14 games at the G next year, same as the filth. Where are those extra games coming from? Unless they've found a few more game slots at the G, then another tenant might lose a game or two (and get shunted to Etihad or elswhere). It's conceivable the extra games are against co-tenants with no. change to the total number of games, but I wouldn't bank on it. Didn't Carlton request extra games on the G, in place of Etihad? I suppose we'll all find out next week.
