  1. As if!
  2. Pros: Would provide the attacking run we so desperately need Has a strong , mature body, is quick. Also desperately needed Haven't heard much from him this year. Has he finally shut up? Cons: He cant kick He cant kick He cant kick Tool
  3. Robinson is yet another ordinary kick. Just what we need!
  4. My take on this is to blame the plonkers who gave Prend-aghast the job as recruiting manager. We gave the top job to a guy whose background wasn't even in recruiting. I'm unsure as to whether it was a lack of candidates, funds or half a clue but either way the same management who gave him the gig, gave him the breathing space to see how his picks turned out! Years passed and you have the snowball effect of failed drafts. I recall Bailey saying years ago, that he was trying to assemble a team (and game plan) to beat Hawthorn's game plan as that's where the game was heading. Pretty astute in the wash-up. BP then went about delivering players to order. What a monumental f-up of first round draft picks. Then there's the promises to recruit players only to stiff them and see them carving it up at other clubs while we give more years to Blease and Strauss.
  5. Geez St Kilda didn't much around. Barely off the ground after the game and told to fark off. Nice touch
  6. I sense a theme in all 194 of your posts.
  7. Fair enough just my (mis)interpretation
  8. The bolded bit looks (to me) like utter bullshyte from the manager. I doubt Melbourne would 'move on' and drop any hope of bringing him back to the MFC, should he opt to return to footy. Codswallop Mr Young
  9. We should be the Melbourne J.E.T.S - Just End The Season
  10. The Cotchin comparison was a good one. The fact that he spent most of the season at Casey is pretty telling. If we cant get the extra yard side of his game up and running, the two-way running, spreading and the defensive efforts, it'll say more about the MFC development than Michie, IMO. He really looks to have the right tools (minus the speed factor) but is slowly learning about the bigger picture.
  11. To be fair, we're not getting the grief from her that I've come to expect. You could go so far as to say she was actually being quite supportive (in Footy Classified that I've seen anyway). So, in this instance, maybe 'Are you there Damian?' might be closer to the mark (or, 'Are you there Purple?')
  12. Or just drop their bundle again and cease to function
  13. Terlich at CHF? The ruckman Fisscher is 194cm - good luck Er umm strain the potatoes or something (Barry McKenzie) - that's all I could come up with!
  14. Nah, it's just bad luck that we were mindbogglingly incompetent
  15. Third passage - Tom McDonald is chasing the ball out toward the wing with his opponent. He's leading in the chase for the ball but instead of going for the footy he drops back behind his opponent and uses his forearm to try and defend/push him off balance.
  16. He caught the MFC disease. Join MFC and within days, weeks, months, lose all confidence in your ability, shortly followed by just losing all ability outright.
  17. 6 Jones 5 Jetta 4 Gawn 3 Michie 2 LOL How the fark did Kent get in the (media) bests?
  18. You forgot to add the bit about giving the task of recruitment to BP rather than someone with a recruiting background - brilliant!
  19. Not likely, any potential trade/FA target would not come to this club if they saw today's game
  20. Went along to the game today...saw Aaron Davey out the front with his wife and kids before the game. Should've left then
  21. I'd like someone to explain why Casey has only been televised once this year.
  22. Gunston's out which helps sorta Jetta should nullify Puopolo if not required elsewhere - should be a good contest between 2 tough nuts. I know Jetta's slower but he doesn't seem to get caught out too often. Still utterly dacked by the class factor - hope it rains
  23. I don't know what everybody's worried about, it would be a first if we lost tomorrow on Saturday.
