I read a comment from Jake Lever during the week where he said we’ve discussed what the Bulldog’s will try and we’re ready to counteract it. I think the Dogs have more to worry about than we do.

I’m sick of hearing about Caleb Bloody Daniel. Yes he has great vision and awareness, yes he’s a reliable kick, but he’s a reliable 11 metre kick. Most of kicks don’t go the required 15 metres, and I personally don’t see him as damaging as some of the other back flankers. Im also sick of hearing that the Dogs have the best midfield, on Saturday there’s a couple of slackers that go by the names of Oliver, Trac and Viney who I think will put this myth to rest.

If you were starting a team tomorrow would Wines be in your first 5 players picked?

I remember wanting Ben Brown before he signed his last contract with North. Not only a great contested mark and accurate set shot, he’s also a smart player who more often than not disposes the ball to the advantage of his team mate. Just spent the last 20 minutes watching some of his highlights, he is a weapon in our arsenal that the Bulldogs will have to watch.

I get both sides, but do we honestly think that if a player doesn’t play on the day regardless of his input throughout the season that it will feel the same to him?
