  1. After yesterdays effort i'd happily take a pick in the 80's for Watts. He is embarrassing to watch.
  2. How is Watts still getting a game? He loses every 50-50 ball embarrassingly no matter how big or small the opponent is. What is his actual role in the team?
  3. Campbell Brown mentioned on MMM that the intention of free agency originally making it easier for players who can't get games at club to move around for better opportunities. It's turning out a little different to that hey?
  4. How many years is his contract? Thats some damning words from Lyon, but no news to us.
  5. I hate free agency but where we are on the ladder makes the deal better for us. There's no way we would ever get pick 3 for Frawley in a trade, but thats what we will get when he leaves as a free agent. Stay or go, we win.
  6. The great teams of the last 5 or so years have those players like Selwood, Hodge etc that can drag them over the line in those last quarters. We don't have that player yet. The question is, do any of our players have the potential to become one of those elite leaders?
  7. Collingwood have allowed him to go home for a few months before pre-season training starts.
  8. http://instagram.com/p/q0jrmWuXJN/ Dom Tyson getting into Tomlinson's ear over a round of Golf.
  9. Tyson's best has been better but Vince has been more consistent. Eh, who cares, we have both of em, enjoy!
  10. The problem is not the umpires. They are interpreting the rules as they stand now correctly. The rules are wrong. I hate the way the game is going, especially the holding the ball rule. The chase down tackles go unrewarded, but stacked on by 5 players within a millisecond of getting the ball, thats holding the ball. Thats not AFL.
  11. We look bamboozled in defence. Heres an idea. Find an opponent and stand next to one. Especially if they are in the goal square. #facepalm
  12. Seriously T-Mac. You not being even able to bounce a ball like an AFL player costs us a goal
  13. How long it's dragged out makes that "I bleed red and blue" line ridiculous.
  14. The players would be worried for sure. They aren't saying anything though. Confidentiality clauses going round for sure.
  15. We should win both games which would take us to 6 wins for the season which most people here at the start of the year would have taken. 8-10 wins next year should be the next goal. Baby steps.
  16. Agree/disagree? Morton showed more. It's a scary thought.
  17. He's just another that hasn't come on. He's first games I thought we had got our own Hodge in the making. He's really slight these days. I recall one preseason game years back and I couldn't believe how solid he was. He's obviously had to shed some size to minimise long term injuries again, but he just gets pushed off the ball way too easily these days. Apart from that spoil this year I find it hard to get enthused about him these days which is sad, because I thought he was going to be elite.
  18. He'd be as welcome back at the Dees as Tom Scully.
  19. Looked like a player who hasn't played AFL for a long time. Also looks like a player that has played his last game of AFL. He's a textbook ball watcher. Doesn't have too many tricks from what i can see.
  20. Our poor investments in drafting have killed us. No news here. Having failures (so far) in Toumpas so recently doesn't help. The next 8 players picked after him are all in their clubs best 22 playing week in week out. I only have blind hope for him but he's a worse pick than morton at this stage. He had double hip surgery before he was drafted they say. Then why would you invest so much in a kid who's body was cooked?
  21. I think Bails first year? Pretty sure we were down by nearly 10 goals to zip at qtr time.
